It was neat to see the Ober Gatlinburg gondola fly past in the distance on occasion. A few finishes could use some freshening, but the home was a great value and great time. It’s kind of up to date and out of date at the same time. Really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Never saw the pool or information regarding it, but it was a little too chilly to enjoy a pool anyway. The drive up the mountain scared my wife, but it was really close to everything considering. I had to re-wash the dishes because they were dirty and they put away. Also left dirty dishes in the machine from the previous stay. The beds were comfortable and much appreciated but no TV in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. The living room couch bed was one the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I’ve ever sat on. Also not really much seating for a family of five to watch a movie in the living area. It is very convenient to the park and Gatlinburg, at least if there isn't snow (we were there in May) as the roads and driveway are very steep. The house was actually slightly updated from the pictures on Vrbo which was a nice surprise. The house was close to down town, just about a mile and a half up the mountain. It is only about a mile from downtown Gatlinburg. That’s very convenient! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table after a day in Gatlinburg.
