Clean Room in the Smokies!!!

Posted 23-Aug-2016
Pros: The rates were excellent. The staff super friendly. Easy check-in and easy check-out. The room was very clean each day and well stocked.
Cons: For the price. No improvement is needed.
Location: The hotel is located at stoplight # 10. This is the beginning of the strip coming in from Gatlinburg.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff was super friendly. Our room was very clean and was cleaned daily. Plenty of towels and toilet paper.

Bad Experience

Posted 1-Aug-2016
We ended up leaving before the night was up. The hotel was loud, dirty, sketchy, and who knows what was going on in the parking lot outside our room. I felt misled, but it was too late to get our money back by the time we got there. Losing our money was still better than staying the whole night.

Not maintained. Pets everywhere.

Posted 29-Jul-2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean it. Fix all the broken items. Update it. Not lie about what rooms the pets are in.
Location: Everything you can imagine and more is nearby. Pigeon Forge has it all!
The door handle to the balcony fell off in my hand when I opened the door. The light on the balcony was broken. There was a missing knob on the jacuzzi tub. The woman in front of me at check in complained of the barking dog across the hall from her and wanted a room change or refund. I asked the woman at the desk if we could be in an area away from pets. She told us all guests with pets were on the same floor. Untrue. We ended up across the hall from guests with a barking dog. The bathroom smelled bad. It would neither recommend it or ever stay there again.

Good Location, Needs Some Work

Posted 28-Jul-2016
The hotel is in a great location right on the main drag in Pidgeon Forge. The room really could use a little better cleaning as well as the rest of the hotel. You could tell things in our room never got wiped down very well, the mirrors were smeared. If they would put a little more work into in the hotel really could be improved. Staff was nice and friendly. Bed could use a little work, rough to sleep on.x

The room was very clean and spacious, but was difficult to keep cool due to its size and having one air conditioner at the far end of the room away from the bed. We stayed three nights and during the first two nights it was extremely noisy. Other guests were up and down the halls both nights until after 1 a.m. Kids were yelling and running down the halls, adults talking loud, doors slamming, and the elevator alarm button was pressed several times. We could also hear the people in the room next to us. This hotel had the most inconsiderate guests of any hotel we've stayed in. The outside of the hotel is not upto standards as it shows in the photos. They do not serve breakfast, but there is a restaurant next door that does serve breakfast.

Surprised and disappointed....

We stayed in one of the rooms on the river which was great but the smell in the room was horrendous...the room was clean and very nice but the animal smell was more than Febreze could take care of so we kept our balcony door open...

Couldn't Tell you because when we arrived there was a note on the door saying sorry for the inconvenience wont be back until 8am called the emergency number (2X's) and no answer. Says 24hr front desk, guessing that's not true, oh well thankfully we booked through hotels.com and they found us another hotel down the street. Oh and the sign said open.
