Not terrible, but not family oriented

Posted 28-Sep-2015
Cons: The building is in major need or updating.
The room was ok - not bad for the money. Really needs updating as far as the building goes. If you like hard beds this is the place for you!

Pretty Nice Hotel

Posted 18-Sep-2015
Pros: Great Location
Cons: The Gentleman that walked through our room because we were not moving fast enough
Location: The location is Great, You can get to any where's you need to be.
I checked in and the young Lady at counter was very friendly and she explained everything to me about where I was staying and about pool. She was very helpful. The room seemed to be clean except for the blinds on the door to go to balcony to sit. I had to clean those cause my hands were touching them. It seemed that they have not been cleaned in along time. Also I cleaned the windows inside and out so I could get a good view outside. I was on bottom floor. Other than that the room was roomy and quiet. We stayed 2 nights and I was getting my things together and the manager or maybe the owner came to my door (outside) which was where I was loading and told me that I needed to go ahead and get my things out due to housekeeping needed to get in here. Mind you it was only 10:30am. Check Out is 11:00 am. He even walked through our room to get to inside hallway. We were blown away with this. We paid to stay and we were packing to leave. He wanted us out like NOW. Other than that the little lady housekeeping was great. I would stay again, I will just have my things ready before 10 am to check out.... Also I think they do Weekly's in the other buildings, The place would look better if people did not hang their laundry over the banisters. I did see a dryer in the building we were in.

Nice hotel near everything and a pleasant surprise

Posted 8-Sep-2015
Pros: Jet tubs and King beds
Cons: Outside appearance and outside pool that was absolutely disgusting and never operational
Location: On main strip in Pigeon Forge with everything close that you could want to do and about any place you could want to eat!
When we pulled in to the parking lot, I was really worried. The hotel looks really homely outside and very shady. But to a great surprise, when I went in the office to check in, everything changed. The staff was great and inside looked a lot better. This is a very nice hotel with nice little inside pool, clean and very nice rooms! The jet tub was great! The only thing I wish they would do is fix the disgusting eye sore that is advertised as a seasonal outside pool! Very Nasty. I was very pleased, as was the rest of my family! Great, friendly staff and nice, clean and comfortable hotel with a nice river in your backyard!

Big rooms and minimal expectations

Posted 7-Sep-2015
Our trip to this hotel was nice. We had no issues at check-in and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were huge and appeared to be very clean. The walls were thick so the neighbors didn't bother is and the jacuzzi was wonderful. During our stay, we misplaced one of our key cards and Looked for it under the beds. We found discarded yogurt containers under the bed which was horrifying--we hadn't eaten anything in the room. Other than the gross trash being "swept under the bed" it was a nice stay. Parking was impossible though and we will probably not be returning until they get central heat and air. (The window unit was AWFUL at cooling the room)

Nice view of the river!

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Cons: I did not like the restroom-like soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom.
We booked last minute using Expedia so we settled for whatever they gave us. The room was okay. It had a tub with jets in it! My boyfriend just laughed. We had a mini balcony (we were on the first floor so it just looked into the back lot then to the river). The river was beautiful and we fed geese from the balcony. The sheets had minor staining which we just brushed off. It really was worth what we paid. It was not fantastic or the best hotel out of our trip, but it did it's job. We were right by the small indoor pool as well which was nice, but again nothing spectacular. The staff was not exceptional. He seemed more annoyed at checking us in and we had to wait till he was done talking with his friend. He even tried to charge me twice, which I luckily caught and stopped.
