Beds are very comfortable! Water pressure is great! Hot tub is hot! Heat was great when coming in from a frigid time at The Island. I will say we were a tad disappointed that the listing is shown as entire home when booking and then the description states lower level only. However, the location and comfortability of the property made up for that and was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children! If you are staying here with littles just be sure to watch their fingers in the sliding barn doors as they move quickly! There is some previous wear and tear aesthetically but as previously stated the cleanliness was great and it did not seem like the property was just forgotten and uncared for. The door separating the levels was locked well and we did not worry that anyone would be coming in from the top level! Overall, we had a wonderful time! ##### Bailey W. I did not understand at the time of booking that this was a basement unit. The water coming from the faucet also had a sewerish smell when turned on. Two cups that we washed out when we arrived smelled like sewage afterwards, so my guests refused to shower and wash their hands with the water. The damp, mustiness caused my husband to get a bad headache, and I ended up with a sinus infection myself. The renters above were also vacuuming at 10:30 pm, which could be heard from the unit very well, and the kids above us were running around their unit at 5:30 am waking up our guests. ##### Deb C. The outside patio was kinda cluttered. When the owner was asked if we could extend our check out time he said he would only give us one extra hour for 25.00 extra. Managers were easy to talk to and responded quickly. It was perfect size and well maintained, however the title and picture of the swing was deceiving as there was no swing outside. We noticed a few mold spots, in the washing machine and on the ice dispenser on the fridge. Nothing huge but very noticeable. There might be a spider problem, as we had to kill several spiders, but also understood we were in the mountains in a basement, so this would be a common occurrence anywhere. Place is very small but had all we needed for a one night stay. Does seem over priced especially having residents above us whose every move was heard. We went to sleep when they did and got up when they did due to the noise. Host was respo sive and provided clear directions and instructions. ##### Christine M. It was close enough to everything but still away from everything. Only suggestion is better lighting outside at night. It was kind of creepy for this city girl at night walking the dog. The place was so clean & was welcoming! My Mom who is bed fast/ wheelchair dependent was took care of by this property. The owners went out of there way to make wide doorways, & ramp access in/out to the outside. The paved parking was a big area & gave her freedom to roam. Its very quite up there away from traffic. Very close to everything! We had a party of 5 but it could've easily held 8 or more. We enjoyed the hot tub & outdoor swing as well! Nice comfy beds, couches, & dining area! Every room has a Smart TV so bring your gaming system if you want too! The internet is so fast at the property never lost service on our phones either. I wished we would've known about this little gem a long time ago! We cannot wait to stay again! It was the most accessible & nicest place we've stayed in forever!! If you stay choose this cabin you won't regret it I promise! 5 stars isn't enough for this property!!! Very very satisfied & will be booking in the near future for next time!! ##### Rachel S. There was 2 seperate occasions we seen a rodent run through the living room and kitchen area. There was mold on the ice maker in the refrigerator. I only live an hour away, but this home was everything I needed! I don't get these getaways very often, so it was great!! Please make sure you're aware this is A downstairs unit and you will hear everything if there are people upstairs! A few things that would've improved our stay, a broom and a mop for some reason there were 2 brooms, no mop. The outside outlet the hot tub plugs into is loose, one little bump will cut the power. There is no lock on the bedroom door on the right, and the bathroom door is coming apart at the top. Like I said these things didn't effect our stay but do need pointed out for maintenance.
