You are in the woods; there are bugs and smells. Yes, the water has a smell at times because it is well water. Yes, the fireplace has a smell for the first few burns of the season due to dust bunnies on the elements. Enjoy breakfast & a cup of coffee (Keurig or regular drip coffee) in our full kitchen. Then kick your feet up in the living room & enjoy a movie near the fireplace. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a meal on the screened in front porch with our BBQ grill then take a dip in the hot tub and listen to a Bluetooth radio to your favorite tunes. Our 600sqft cabin has all you need, including a queen size bed and a brand new (Jan. 2022) sofa bed in the living room Our quaint little cabin is located just 13 minutes from The Island in Pigeon Forge. There are 2 security cameras on the property (one at the entry door & the other on the driveway) these are for your safety and ours. We also have lights on the corners of the house that light up the trees at night. \*\*Please you are in the Great Smokey Mountains and that there is always a possibility of all wildlife & bears. We are in their habitat remember that please. If we text you or message you that there is a bear outside please DO NOT go outside especially if it is dark. We will send you pictures if we see any, if you get a cool picture of a bear on the property, feel free to post to our social media outlets.\*\* There is a late checkout fee if you are at the property 15mins after checkout. This will result in a $100 fee. Additionally, for every 30 minutes after the grace period, after the grace period, we will charge $50. THERE IS A double cleaning fee for all check-in & check out on Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day. If the camera by the front door is moved or covered up, you will be asked to leave the property immediately with NO REFUND. The fireplace did not work and we did have some issues with the hot tub. Got in the shower and noticed a big wad of hair, after the shower I wanted to get into bed but there were blood stains on the comforter and pillow case. The hosts first just stated "that's not good" Of course I was frustrated, but they were very commutative and the cleaner even sent over a new comforter from Walmart (this did happen late at night 10:00pm or so) They did offer a refund if we wanted to leave, we would've left if there would've been any other place to stay but everywhere was booked. Overall, It wasn't too terrible. We come to pigeon forge at least twice a year and had never encountered anything like this before. I loved that they tried to make it right, it just seemed like we came on an off weekend for them and one thing after another kept popping up, they handled it the best they could. ##### Sarah M.
