We monitor our properties and keep them well-maintained for all of our guests. Introducing Sherwood's Splashin' Retreat! It is a 4 bed/4.5 bath luxury cabin located in the exclusive “The Village at Sherwood Forest " at the top of popular Sherwood Forest Resort in Pigeon Forge, TN. If in need of additional accommodations, our sister, cabin "Sherwood's Splash Mountain" is VRBO #910972 and is just 9 cabins away in the same cabin resort community. Both cabins have the same lay-out & amenities. You can also check out our beach properties in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama: VRBO #'s 233279 & 409620. This cabin, Sherwood’s Splashin Retreat has many wonderful features, including, but not limited to: \* Prime, convenient location for short drives to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge, & Gatlinburg. \*Main room has comfortable furniture, and 27' high floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone fireplace, and wall-of-windows w/incredible, panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains (including the iconic Mount LeConte)! Main room also has a 60" Smart TV & Blu-ray player that can be enjoyed from the kitchen & dining table, too. \* Four luxury bedrooms w/hand-made furniture, luxury bedding, upgraded mattresses, & en suite baths (3 king and 1 bunk room w/ 2 queen beds & 2 twin beds). Two king bedrooms are located on main level & one king bedroom & the bunk room are on the top level. Each bedroom has its own 42” 4K Smart TV. The bunk room also has a Blu-ray player for the kids. We were a combination of two families totaling 4 adults and 5 kids. This cabin was perfect and the view was incredible and something to remember. We took a 14 1/2 hour drive from Texas to Tennessee and we were not disappointed. The Host (Robert/Gail) were very nice and communicated with us every step of the way. Their response times were also speedy when any questions arose. The cabin was immaculate and the kids loved all of the entertainment especially the theater room, swimming pool and the ping pong conversion table. I have no complaints, only compliments. If you book this property, you won’t be disappointed. The property was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. We stayed with our 3 children along with a brother and SIL. We all had plenty of room to stretch out with ease of coming together to enjoy family time. The location was great; it was close to the Parkway but felt like a million miles away in this community. The views were beautiful; the pool, hot tub and theater was an added bonus. The kids never wanted to leave the cabin. The community pool was also a crowd favorite. We visited daily and it never felt crowded, but with just enough people to chat with if you wanted to. Our bedrooms were comfy and cozy and the kids adored their bunkroom. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was big and easier to use for maybe an older person. I loved the larger bed-sized bunk for my 3 year old. I didn't worry about him falling out. Gail was easy to communicate with about everything. So glad we stayed here. It was definitely one of the easiest most relaxing and fun trips that we have had. Also, we recommend the Ole Mill and Five Oaks to eat at; they were delicious Also,don't forget your moonshine sampling, so yummy and a perfect beverage to sip on the porch! We also had the kids complete their Junior Ranger badge at The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, a great little adventure if you have kids. We had a perfect getaway during our stay in this cabin! It was just what everyone needed to recharge. The views are breath taking. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation, fun and the best way to make memories for us all. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. It was spotless and so cozy. Our host Gail made sure we felt welcome and that she was available for any questions or concerns. On this trip we had my elderly parents who enjoyed their stay tremendously- they had the master suite that was on the first floor where they felt comfortable and safe. Our teenagers had the upstairs with so many bed options and were close to the pool table and gaming system that they used every single day. The swimming pool and hot tub was amazing for us all! The theatre room added excitment to our stay as eveyone was able to pick a movie to make the week complete. We enjoyed the game rooms theater room and indoor pool the most. As it was over 90 moat of our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you need to whip up breakfast or a five course meal. Bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds. The views were amazing as well and we even had a visit from a bear! We wanted to rent a cabin and as such, reviewed many that were listed on VRBO. We choose Sherwood’s Splashin’ Retreat, and turns out, was a fantastic decision. What initially stood out about this property (besides the basics - plenty of room) was the indoor pool and the home theater. Was a bit warm in the pool room, but the kids could have cared less. It was their first stop after returning from our day’s activity. Wasn’t very big, but again was perfect for the kids. As far as the bedrooms, we had 3 suites and a bedroom with bunk beds. One of the upstairs suites had it’s own private deck. Views from the 2 upper decks were awesome. The lower deck view somewhat obscured by trees. Beds and furniture very comfortable. Actually had 2 game rooms, but we never used them. In eve, we pretty much sat on the deck and enjoyed the view. Kitchen well stocked. Impressed that there were 3 methods to make coffee- French press, drip, and Keurig. Kids loved the home theater. Watched a movie (or at least part of a movie each eve). We did have a few problems early in our visit, but Gail was very responsive in attending to these issues. Overall, the cabin was totally awesome. ##### Dave B. Our stay at this gorgeous Pigeon Forge home was absolutely perfect! We vacationed with another family (4 adults and 5 kids ages 5-11 total) and everyone had the best time. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the pool - they spent several hours swimming each day and couldn't get enough!The Smoky Mountain views were beautiful, especially during morning coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine. The location couldn't have been more convenient - we easily accessed everything we wanted to do in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without long drives.Gail and Rob were exceptional hosts - so kind, hospitable, and readily available for any questions we had throughout our stay. Their attention to detail made us feel right at home.The house itself is stunning with tons of room for everyone. The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed room - it was an instant hit! Having an en-suite bathroom in every bedroom was such a plus for our multi-family stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals together.We enjoyed the many games and activities provided in the house for entertainment. And the wildlife viewing was incredible - we even saw bears during our stay!We're so happy with our choice to stay here and are truly grateful to Gail and Rob for helping us create wonderful memories.
