My husband and i laughed every time the screen door slammed. We both remember getting yelled at as children for slamming the screen door. We really enjoyed the view and the sound of the Little Pidgeon River from the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The hottub was hot and ready for us when we arrived. We got surprised by a large black bear meandering past our porch around 5:30 on one of the evenings, which we enjoyed, but are glad we weren't sitting out there at the time! ##### Victoria W. The location is perfect. Its in the woods enough for the mountain feel, but close enough to walk into town. You cant get a better location. We walked out on the screenporch to be greeted by a beautiful black bear on the other side of the door. Its one of my many favorite moments while we were there.
