This is our personal property and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We have made it 'Mountain Lodge Style' with a rustic warm feel. Includes stone fireplace, knotty pine paneling and doors, new floors, new bathroom fixtures and kitchen counter tops. Master has a King bed, 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, Fully equipped kitchen, free 'WIFI', 32 inch flat screen (cable) TV in living room with Blu ray DVD player, electric fireplace, laundry room (coin operated) right across from our door, heated pool (seasonal), 2 hot tubs, sauna, game room, 2 gas grills and 2 charcoal grills and picnic areas available, plenty of green space around buildings, keyless entry, and free parking. We are 5 to 30 minutes from most attractions but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. The owners have done a wonderful job creating a rustic cabin setting within this cozy condo perched high on the mountainside close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg. We spent our family weekend enjoying several hikes during what is considered to be one of the busiest times of the year at GSMNP, so it was particularly refreshing to drive back up to the condo after a long day to relax and rejuvenate in a setting that provided a sense of seclusion and quiet. It was the perfect accommodation for our family of four. We took advantage of both the grill and the hot tubs located on the premises. We did not see any bears this time as other guests have, but we did see a mother and her cubs in the park. All the amenities were as advertised (we couldn't quite figure out how to get local channels but there were plenty of options available for guests needing to watch TV which was certainly not a priority for us). We particularly enjoyed family meals around the small dining room table and the spacious kitchen counter that gave everyone ample room to prepare lunches and daypacks for each day in the park. We felt welcomed from the first communication with Mark and Joni to the time we opened the door upon arrival. Thank you for sharing your Smoky Mountains treasure with us!
