You’ll enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to all the action. The Roaring Fork Stream, which flows directly from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, runs just behind the cabin—and it’s stocked weekly with trout! Don’t forget to grab a local fishing license and enjoy one of the area’s favorite pastimes. Getting Around: The roads to the cabin are fully paved and easy to navigate, but as always in the Smokies, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive—especially during colder months or inclement weather. The cabin is only about 1 mile from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Other Things to Note: • The Roaring Fork Stream is stocked weekly by the City of Gatlinburg. A fishing license can be purchased locally. • Must be 21 or older to book this cabin. • This cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 guests. • We always recommend 4x4 drive for anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin is easily accessible with paved roads all the way, but 4x4 is helpful in the event of inclement weather. • The fireplace is wood burning. Firewood is not provided—please bring your own. • This cabin has very limited parking. Only ONE vehicle can fit in the designated space. A 2015 Ford Explorer (7-passenger SUV) fits in the spot, but anything larger will not. Please review the listing photos for a visual reference and plan accordingly. While the parking may be tight, the cabin is truly exceptional and worth it. • Cabin features high-speed WiFi and smart TVs (no cable service; bring your smart TV login credentials). • Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day. • Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided. • Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method. • Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. • Being in the mountains, wind can sometimes blow leaves, dirt, or other natural debris into the hot tub. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned to ensure it’s ready for use. We loved being so close to the creek and had bears in the yard twice during our stay. Cabin was very clean. Only suggestion would be to add some place to put clothing - there are no dressers or drawers. Communication with the owners was great. Plenty of space, clean, well-appointed, adorable. The creek next to the cabin was like white noise and we loved it (even if it made us a little sleepy lol). Location was fantastic. Location was great, quiet and peaceful. The front porch had a beautiful view of the roaring river. The furniture was upgraded and the pictures do not reflect that. Front porch screens could use some attention and the description of the driveway was very accurate(small). Would gladly book this cabin again ##### Chadwick B. The cabin was exceptionally clean, spacious, and charming. It looks exactly like the photos in the listing. We loved hearing the stream and spending hours looking at it from the screened-in porch or by the windows. The location is so convenient, close enough to downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park but still relatively secluded and private. I recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again. The host also communicated promptly and politely to provide all of the information we needed. ##### Susan M. Property was exactly as listed. Very cute and clean. Loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. Glad we had the heads up on the parking. It was tight but doable. Just have to take an extra minute or two to squeeze in. Easy walk into town for shopping and restaurants if you want. The sound of the creek was the best white noise machine ever. ##### Jennifer S. I drive a Ford expedition 2022 and I was actually able to fit my truck in the spot that was provided even though they said the Ford Explorer was the only size. Obviously you have to park it just right but my truck was not hanging out in the road at all. I was very pleased to know how close we were to everything and it was very quiet. We did catch some trout in the river that was sitting out front of the house. That was exciting. I definitely recommend staying here. It was very fun very nice and it was pretty clean. ##### Christina T.
