Guest Access: Entire Cabin The Neighborhood: Located only minutes from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, TN, this gorgeous cabin is located in the Roaring Fork area. The mighty Roaring Fork Stream is stocked weekly with trout, so don't forget to pick up a fishing license and have some fun! They are rebuilding a condo complex behind the cabin. They are nearing completion. We just want to make you aware, but there should be no noise issues inside the cabin nor on the porch other than the wonderful sound of rushing water. Getting Around: All paved roads to the cabin. We recommend 4x4 wheel drive at any cabin in Gatlinburg and/or the mountains as well as this one. It's easy to reach the cabin and very close to downtown Gatlinburg (1 mile away). Other Things to Note: • The Roaring Fork Stream is stocked weekly by the City of Gatlinburg — you can grab a fishing license locally • Must be 21 or older to book this cabin • This cabin sleeps 8 guests maximum • We always recommend a 4x4 drive for anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way, and without any inclement weather, any car should be fine, but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area • Fireplace is wood burning — bring your own firewood • They are rebuilding a condo complex behind the cabin. They are nearing completion. There should be no noise issues inside the cabin or on the porch other than the sound of rushing water • Cabin features WiFi and Smart TVs (no cable — bring your streaming logins) • Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day. • Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided. • Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method. • Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors. • We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos. • Being in the mountains, wind can sometimes blow leaves, dirt, or other natural debris into the hot tub. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned to ensure it’s ready for use. The location is fantastic! An easy drive to downtown Gatlinburg and really close to Pigeon Forge. The cabin was clean and had lots of space. The owner was very easy to communicate with and even took the time to check-in to see how our stay was going. We did use the hot tub and it was great! Make sure to heed the warnings about keeping food out of your car as our friends had an unexpected visitor get into their truck one night! I traveled with 4 teens and this upscale cabin had more than enough space but still felt cozy and homey. It’s a short drive or nice walk to downtown, yet it’s tucked away enough where it’s super peaceful and quiet. Check-in and checkout were a breeze, the owners were attentive and kind, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend! ##### Cindy H. The bunk beds were a bit small for my 15 year old son - but the couch made up for it! Close to downtown, restaurants, national park. And yet you felt like you were away from all the commercialism in the cabin. We saw a lot of wildlife and even fished in the creek. It was conveniently located close to town, which was the best part for us! We traveled with our 1 year old child, and being able to go back to the cabin to put her down for nap time/bedtime without having a long commute was perfect. The sound of the stream at night was my absolute favorite part. The listing pictures are accurate. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms. On our last day, a bear crawled right past the porch and went on his business. My husband was also very pleased. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. ##### Nikki G. Everything is exactly as described. The only issue is the door combo don’t work but they gave us a back up before we arrived. And there were 2 messages that went unresponsive. But it didn’t affect our time whatsoever. This place was The perfect combination of nature and small town quaintness if you want to stay somewhere that’s close to nature but also in the middle of us small town with lots of cool shops. This is the perfect place. Our first night there we saw three baby bears so adorable. There’s an actual river in the backyard, the house was also beautiful clean just like in the pictures me and my family had the best time ever we loved! ##### Robyn M. Definately book if you want to see bears. We saw a momma bear and 4 cubs a few times and another bear by itself. The yard seemed to their main path to get across the stream/road. It was cool, but it was a little too close when they were walking back one night while we were in the hot tub/kids were outside. Luckily everyone and the bears were able to get safe distance away from each other. You might consider putting the hot tub on the deck in the screened in area for more peace of mind. We arrived on a Saturday and left Thursday morning. There wasn’t a day that we didn’t see any bear from the porch. For any visitors coming, be sure you take time to sit outside around 6:30ish pm till a little after dark…that’s when the bear activity happened the most for us as well as early morning. The cabin was very clean and spacious enough for all of us. Both of our girls, along with us, fell in love with the screened in porch that they could run and play on. We also loved getting to dip our toes in the water outside. The only thing I would recommend is that there be a little guest book for everyone who stays to journal in. I always enjoy reading what all past visitors have done/seen. Thank you to the owners for sharing this little piece of heaven with us. ##### Kasey T.
