Upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom with a king bed, jacuzzi, and private bath, as well as a second bedroom with a king bed and a shared bathroom, both accessible via internal stairs. The third bedroom, with a queen bed, private bath, and washer/dryer, is located on the lower level, which is detached and only accessible from outside. All entry doors share the same lock code. The separate downstairs suite offers added privacy but may not be ideal for all families. Outside, the cabin features a bi-level deck with outdoor dining, ample seating, a hot tub, a fire pit with chairs, and a charcoal grill for guest enjoyment. Photo captions provide additional details about the property. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: \*\*\* PLEASE READ \*\*\* • Please be aware that bears are commonly seen in the area. Use caution when walking around corners, as sudden encounters can startle them. If you see a bear, maintain a safe distance and never try to feed, touch, or approach it. Always keep your vehicle locked to prevent bears from getting inside in search of food. • The cabin is situated on a mountain, and the roads leading to it are steep, narrow, and winding. A 4-wheel drive is recommended, especially in poor weather. Snow, ice, fog, or rain can make driving hazardous, so it's best to check in before dark due to challenging road conditions and limited GPS or cell service. • An electronic keypad is available for guest convenience, with the access code sent through the in-app messenger two hours before check-in. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: (by confirming your reservation, you agree to the following) • Pets are allowed with an additional fee; they must be well-trained. Clean up pet hair and feces. Pet damage fees start at $300. • No smoking or drug use allowed inside the cabin. Violations incur fees starting at $300. • No glitter or confetti allowed. Cleanup will result in a $100 additional fee. • Only flush toilet paper in the toilet—no feminine products or other materials. The septic system works well but will clog if misused. Improper flushing may result in damage charges up to $1,000. • Place all trash in the cans inside the bear-proof containers and keep them closed at all times. Do not leave trash outside the cabin anywhere else. • Please treat our home with care. Do not remove any furnishings or items from the cabin. Following inspection, damaged or missing items may result in a deduction from the security deposit or extra charges. • The owners are not responsible for loss of personal belongings, accidents, injuries, or illnesses on the property. • Guests assume all risks associated with their stay, including harm to themselves or others they invite. • No refunds are given for storms, natural disasters, or road conditions. • Children under 18 must be supervised in the hot tub. Use it at your own risk and consult a doctor if unsure. Do not stand on the cover—damage may result in a $350 charge. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the double porch. We certainly got our exercise on all the steps while we were there. Lol. The bears were there everyday but didn’t bother us they were just curious but keep that in mind. Our hosts were wonderful to work with and stayed in constant communication with us in case we needed anything. I would most definitely stay again. Martha Green ##### Martha G. Jan 8, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Wonderful Cabin Close to Gatlinburg with Tons of Wildlife My wife and I and our dogs stayed in this cabin for three weeks between Christmas and mid January. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and loved the cabin. The cabin is about 10 minutes away from the center of Gatlinburg down Ski Mountain Road so really close to everything overall. The cabinet itself is lovely and has two bedrooms in the main house and then another bedroom downstairs with the laundry room. The driveway is easy to pull in and out of which is a total plus when you’re staying in Gatlinburg given the hills that you usually have to deal with. The biggest plus to us was all the wildlife on the premises. We saw black bears almost every day at night. We even saw some coyotes as well one night. Lots of deer, of course, but overall the wild life was totally cool to see, and we loved it. The hosts were super nice and very communicative and always helped us if we needed something. The info and attention given by the host could not have been better. We had two gentle visits by black bears both at sunset which made the trip exciting and special. He came back the next day for a visit, but he left easily was not aggressive at all, apparently other guests have been feeding him. We enjoyed our time and hot tub in the fireplace was a nice touch. We enjoyed the roominess for the 4 of us! Great amenities and the house was missing nothing! Communication with the owners also was a plus! My son enjoyed the first floor room to himself!
