However, the roads are paved and in the winter, they are plowed to ensure utmost safety. If you are terribly uncomfortable with driving on mountains, we will miss getting to host you and recommend another property. BUT, if you can try it out, the National Park views and natural coziness are what make Gatlinburg the tried and true mountain destination. ☀ Do you need to bring your own linens? ➜ No, no and absolutely not! Our promise to our guests is to provide consistency and to us, consistency means ensuring essentials. We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things! ☀ Is the hot tub private and what is the situation with the pools? ➜ Fortunately, Deer Ridge Mountain Resort allows guests access to a shared pool/ hot tub area at the resort. Unfortunately, this does mean that neither the hot tub, nor the pool are private. We understand that privacy is sought after, but we hope the extra amenities will make up for it! ➜ There are two outdoor pools available to guests and both are within a short 8-10 minute drive of the resort. The outdoor pools; however, are only open from Memorial day to Labor day. The specific locations will be shared after booking! ☀ Will the condo be loud/ noisy? ➜ Because this property is part of a resort, it does mean you will have neighbors in other condos. While we always hope that these other guests will keep their volume to a reasonable minimum, we cannot guarantee it. Super amazing to see sunrises and sunsets from either your room or the pool area. It was a little difficult to get to since it is quite high up- lots of twists and turns, but we took a minivan and it wasn't too terrible especially after the first few days. The style of the condo itself is very well decorated; the winding stairs are a great touch, and the 2 beds are huge. TV is included, washing machines are near the pool area, and the kitchen was also a good plus- our room had a good amount of utensils, bowls, plates, baking dishes, etc. Self check-in is super convenient as well. ##### Lily M. Staying at Smoky Sunrise was a great change of venue for the week. Enjoyed the view and the long walks through Cobbly Nob’s roads. Condo had everything we needed.
