The grass was overgrown, weeds and bushes around the house were up to our hips and not trimmed down to make it look like a nice rental property. When we entered the house, the smell of mildew and must was overwhelming. After seeing the outside and then smelling the inside, we almost called the owner to cancel, but since it was a no refund policy, we just ran to the store and got some Glade candles and bleach cleaners. Also, entering the home was a difficult task. After SEVERAL attempts of trying to access the application just to get the passcode, the owner was kind enough to just give it to us, but said that he thought the keypad may be out of order. (What?) He then referred his son to us, who got us into the lockbox to the actual keys to the house, finally relieving me of my migraine. Misc: No oil, no pepper, as advertised (had to buy). Minimal pots and pans (without lids), no baking sheets. No light in the refrigerator. The screened-in porch is NOT by the creek, nor can you see the creek from it. No tables in living room. Out of all the rentals we’ve ever stayed in, this was, by far, the worst. NOTHING like the pictures. If you just want a bed to sleep on, this would be ideal, but for a family to spend quality time here, we feel as if we were extremely misled by renting this property. ##### Charlene C.
