Although we were told check-in was at 4 PM and would be notified if it was ready earlier, we received a message at 3:08 PM saying it was clean and ready. We arrived around 5:30 PM after grocery shopping, only to find the place had not been cleaned. The upstairs appeared partially done—there was hair on the pillows and the comforter was on upside down.Tired and hoping to relax, we called the management. Instead of a sincere apology and prompt resolution, we got excuses about being busy and trouble operating their system. I had to call back to ask what the plan was. The alternative cabin they offered was 30 minutes away and far from the “luxury” we originally booked. On top of that, there was no offer of compensation other than another DW ticket more delays on the entry code, and was ignored multiple times by the manager Jesse.
