The location is amazing-best of both worlds. Close enough that we drove down the hill to a free parking spot (you can walk down too) and walked the strip everyday yet our home was quiet and nestled up a mountain among trees and with bear sightings. Beautiful front porch mountain views. My kids loved the pool table, video game console and tvs in every bedroom for rainy days. The kitchen was comfortable and had everything we needed to make breakfast every morning. The beds were all comfortable and I truly felt at home in this house which is hard for me usually! James was an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin is beautiful and we loved the decor. It is close to town and the national park. You get the best of both worlds by enjoying the cabin experience with a view while being close to downtown. The road up to the cabin is a bit scary at first, but we got the hang of it after a couple trips. The host was very accommodating and the house was super clean. You will see bears at this cabin if the season is right for them. The home is gorgeous and well kept. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for years and finally found a gem! We would definitely stay here during any season. It snowed a good amount while we were there and the road up to the home was well managed. The drive up to the home is achievable. I had read other reviews that stated it was difficult to get up. I did not find this to be the case at all.The location is perfect. It offers a secluded feel with easy access to down town and the national park. ##### Sherri M. Whether you are headed into the park or downtown, it’s a perfect location. The view of Gatlinburg is so beautiful at night. We could get into the park with no traffic.
