We loved making that memory with them. And would stay there again but next time we will be more careful of how we book. We didn’t know we would be staying in the other side of the road for our trip and would have to drive to the pool since it was icey cold. No remote for tv, when we got one it didn't work. Toilet was leaking all over the floor. Had to go to a new room. Key card wouldn't open door to get into hotel. Luckily staff personnel was there and let us in. Someone was supposed to bring us a new key card. Waited an hour, never showed. We had to go to the office to get it. Didn’t like climbing the steep hill where our room was. We like to leave the car parked and walk the town. The climb up was incredibly steep. We are 69 and 70 years old, good shape but it kicked our butt. Would we stay there again, no. Big UGH since hot tub was a priority in booking this hotel. Hard to navigate to Lobby for check -in. 4th floor hallway has very musty smell, as well as the heating/cooling fan, when on. Bathroom floor is extremely slippery, even when dry. Elevator is very slow, we used the stairs the whole time except for check in/check out. One stairway was flooded at the lowest level. Navigating the stairs to lobby and above is a Jedi mind game….or like “Labyrinth”. It’s like they change every time you use them. PROS: Nice balcony overlooking the the stream and mountains. Right in the thick of downtown. Decent breakfast. All staff that we encountered were very nice.
