Escape with your loved one to "Hugs and Kisses". A quaint little luxury cabin located in the Great Smoky Mountains. Enjoy some rest and relaxation in the two person hot-tub or enjoy a good book in one of the rocking chairs on the back porch. Downtown Gatlinburg boasts many attractions, shops and restaurants and is less than 4 miles away. If you are more of an outdoors person, you can find yourself white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking to a beautiful waterfall and much more. Please take a look at our welcome book for lots of information on the area and our personal recommendations. Dollywood and all of the Pigeon Forge "Hugs and Kisses" is located in beautiful Mountain Shadows Resort. At Mountain Shadows you get a sense of wooded seclusion with the amenities of a resort – two swimming pools, clubhouse, playground and pavilion. Designed as an extension of the Smoky Mountains National Park, the developers of Mountain Shadows Resort were careful to preserve the area's wilderness setting. Nature and wildlife abound, in all four seasons. The roads are paved and very well maintained even during inclement winter weather conditions, The swimming pool with its cascading waterfall and the resort grounds are meticulously kept and naturally beautiful. There is a large king size bed and an optional pack and play for those new parents who just aren't ready to leave that little one behind. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a meal for two. There is a smart TV, DVD Player, Netflix, HULU and Disney + Gatlinburg has been a home away from home for us, with something to do for EVERYONE. Beautifully decorated and had everything that you could need. The hot tub was relaxing and private. Parking is a little tight but manageable. There are several little shops and dining places to enjoy without having to deal with the chaos of the strip in Gatlinburg. Oct 1, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Cute Honeymoon Cabin Beautiful cabin, easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. My husband and I honeymooned and stayed here, the cabin was the perfect size for two people. We enjoyed the hot tub alot. We really apprecaited the full size fridge and freezer and the dish washer. The only negatives we had were the grill wasn't working and the burners on the stove moved while we were cooking. Parking spot couls also be identified a little better as you share a small lot with 2 other cabins and there parking. ##### Carley B. The bed and couch are super comfortable, the jacuzzi is excellently placed and relaxing, and the privacy is enjoyable. The only changes that could be made to improve this stay would be newer/better connectivity with the remotes that control the lights and fans and a larger dehumidifier. We emptied the dehumidifier many times over the course of our stay. We had no issue with this, but it was inconvenient at times. We were wary of using the outdoor hot tub as well. This was due to an apparent lack of added support on the deck. Overall, we had a wonderful, memorable stay and would recommend this VRBO to anyone. ##### Baili Stayed 4 nights in Aug 2024 ### 8/10 Good #### Nathan A. Aug 21, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### So quaint and private We absolutely loved our stay in this property. So secluded and adorable. Our only complaint is there was a veryyy strong mildew smell in the cabin which made me think mold. I’m allergic to mold and would get very itchy and sneezy every time we were in the cabin. Luckily my work specializes in mold so I have stuff I can take for it. I would recommend the owners have someone take come out and inspect. The comforter on the bed could stand to be replaced too. BUT we had the most amazing time. The hot tub was clean and so enjoyable after a long day of walking around. We do wish they had better instructions on how to Get to the national park and the pools though. There was a map but it wasn’t very helpful. We found one pool but it was full of kids so we went looking for the second pool and could not find it but did get a HELL of a workout walking around the hills trying to find it 😂 thank you for the great stay and we hope to come back. ##### Nathan A.
