Short drive to the main strip This cabin was just as picturesque as what you would d imagine staying in Gatlinburg, TN.It was very clean amd well stocked with the essentials. The location was a short drive 10 min or so from the main strip though town. The whole family truely enjoyed their stay. We would 100% book this cabin again for future stays. So so happy with our stay at the Highlander Haven and with Park Side Cabin Rentals! Check in was easy. We got an email with instructions and door codes, and the office was a 5 minute drive from the cabin when we went to get parking passes for downtown Gatlinburg. So grateful for the free parking passes as it saved us a lot of money!! We came down for our honeymoon, and Park Side was so accommodating to us. Our cabin was super clean, and property management were extremely kind and easy to get a hold of. They even accommodated an extra night stay at a reasonable price last minute due to the snow. This home was perfect for us as far as access to the complex, pool table and hot tub for some added fun. Food City is minutes away as well as various restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. The location and cabin were both great. However there were a few negatives with the cabin. The downstairs bathtub couldn’t be used for our kids because we were unable to use the drain plug. Therefore trying to shower 2 small children was a bit difficult haha. The sink in the downstairs bathroom had a hard time draining. Was unable to use the dryer due to the lint catcher being broken. And the pool table room was freezing cold due to missing windows. Otherwise, it was a great stay. It did not furnish condiments, salt/pepper or coffee, but we knew that in advance from the owner and were prepared. It had a clothes washer and dryer that came in very handy and they provided detergent pods, but we took dryer sheets. It was comfortable and seemed like it was far away from the busyness of Gatlinburg, although it was only minutes away. Beautiful mountain drive. The only surprise was the neighboring cabins are closer than we thought... but they were quite and we enjoyed walking and the outdoor fire pit without interruption.
