The house was the perfect size for the four of us, and was clean and inviting. The driveway was a little tricky to maneuver, but was worth the drive. Plenty of room in this spacious cabin like house with wonderful mountains view. Stayed one week, out and about every day to close by Gatlinburg and the SMNP. Bonus: We saw bears twice, once a big mommy bear by herself coming up the driveway, and then another day two-cubs, also coming up the driveway. My husband really appreciated the pool table! One thing to note: one of the roads up to the house is very steep and narrow and has a lot of switchbacks; drive carefully! The windy road and steep drive does increase the heart rate a bit. We saw a bear, walk between our vehicles just an hour after arrival. It was nice for each couple to have their own bathroom, and the cabin had everything we needed for kitchen, laundry, lounging, and entertainment. Would definitely rebook. We loved the views and the location being so close to downtown. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the tips of the pool sticks were missing. This may seem trivial, but we immediately requested them to be fixed, as this was one of the reasons we selected this home versus other cabins. Location was great!!! We rented this place for our annual Girls Trip! Eight of us! The house was just as described, but better. Everything was clean and in working order. The views were fantastic out the front of the house. The driveway was a bit daunting, but still easily accessible and plenty of parking. (We were in a 12 passenger van!) The beds were very comfortable. Three of the bathrooms were exactly the same, large with roomy showers, the lower level one with the laundry room was a very small corner shower. But hey... We were with great friends having a wonderful time! The small shower is only mentioned, as that particular bathroom is the much smaller of the 4 bathrooms! TVs worked well, wi-fi was good, pool table was well maintained and all the parts were in working order, as was the hot tub! Our host was very responsive, when necessary, all prior to arrival. The location of this house was great between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! There was a "back way" down to Gatlinburg, where you missed the main thoroughfare traffic between the two cities, which was more of a bonus, because there was usually heavy traffic on Highway 321\. After about 5 minutes the bottom of my socks were black. I now know why. The "cleaning" crew doesnt do mich cleaning. My daughter left her purse and they couldnt even find it. Had they been cleaning like they should the purse would have easily been located. Took 3 days of going round and round with the owner and cleaning company to get the purse back. Cost us $75 due to a $50 trip fee they charge to retrieve your forgotten items. Then when we finally did get the purse back there was money missing from it. Not happy at all!!
