Experience true mountain romance as you and your companion indulge in the fantastic views that await you of the Great Smoky Mountains. Treetop Treasure is a hand hewn log cabin that sleeps two perfect for your next romantic getaway or that needed week of rest and relaxation. As you ascend the stairway to your luxury log cabin in the Smokies, you will feel as if you are ascending the 'Stairway to Heaven'. Heaven awaits you up top with a wrap around deck that has a hot tub and bar height table with chairs for dining alfresco under the stars, a charcoal grill for grilling those perfect steaks, burgers, and chicken. You will be awed by vaulted great room with the wonderful view, corner wood burning fireplace, a great interior and peaceful atmosphere. The rough hewn beams, log and chinking add to the total Smoky Mountains country aura of this log cabin. After a day of activities, the upstairs bedroom with its comfortable king size bed will lull you into dreamland. The master suite includes a Roku/Smart TV with popular streaming apps like Netflix, Prime, Pluto and more. The master bath has a nice sized walk in shower. large vanity and a soaking tub. The bedroom has a catwalk that overlooks the great room and leads to the deck equipped with glider rocker benches and a hammock. At night, you can stargaze from the hammock on the upper deck or experience true mountain romance as you and your companion relax in the hot tub while admiring the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. The days activities and the ascent to your cabin may have made you hungry so you may want to use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare anything from a snack to a gourmet meal. Preparation of meals is a breeze and cleanup is too with the automatic dishwasher. If you choose to enjoy some of the great restaurants available in Gatlinburg they are only a short drive down the mountain. The drive into town was super easy and it was relaxing to sit on the porch and watch the mountains. The owners were very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with although we didn’t need them after check-in as everything was in perfect working order. It’s in a residential area with some other rentals, but due to the angles and lot spaces it really does feel private. The sunrises were truly unbelievable. The gondola crossing over the mountain skyline just added to the magic. The house was stocked with all the basics. Best of all, the location allows you to make a five minute drive down the hill and choose: Turn left for downtown Gatlinburg, or turn right for the park (bypassing all that traffic and mayhem if you’re just trying to go hike). It was beautiful - loved the hot tub and hammock and pool table. Close proximity to the downtown area but the neighborhood was quiet, which was much appreciated. The bed was a King which is always nice. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. The only caveat - make sure you bring an eye mask because there are no curtains!
