The cabin is located not even a mile up the mountain right behind the Gatlinburg Aquarium! Location could not be better!!!! Two huge decks are perfect to sit outside and watch the cars come into Gatlinburg! The mountain views are breathtaking! There is one master suite located on main floor of the home. On the bottom floor there is 3 bedrooms also there is sitting area in front of a gas fireplace that is perfect for a reading area. On the top floor there are 2 bedrooms with a game room. There is also a sitting area to play cards and a small wet bar for extra entertaining! Game room has a pool table, foosball table and a xbox for the guests to play. The sofa in the gameroom also lets out to a bed! Age appropriate games, books, and puzzles for the kids as well as the video game, air hockey, and foosball! The kitchen is stocked with lots of pots and pans! Hot tub is perfect. BEWARE!! Lock your car doors. We did have a beer that got in one of the vans which were forgotten to be locked. No damage just paw prints and eaten snack bags and wet from the rain through the night!! It was one of our mother’s favorite things (Xmas in general). She loved Gatlinburg and wanted to take the whole family to the Xmas parade. She passed a few years back and we never made it. Our father refused to let go of that hope. We planned this trip almost a year in advance. The property owner did not disappoint! The place looked amazing (already decorated with a beautiful tree and the views of gatlinburg “lit” up at night were great! This trip was the best we have had to Gatlinburg due largely by us all being together. Word to the wise; you WILL see bears at this cabin/lodge. Be prepared. Sometimes at night; Sometimes in the early morning. But they are present. As for the 2 children we took; they were more than entertained. Plenty of games and activities in the cabin for them.
