Enjoy truly epic views from high above Gatlinburg and also be close to both the National Park and to all the area's fun attractions. Downtown Gatlinburg and the park entrance are both just short drives away; you can hike, play, come home, go for a seasonal swim in one of the nearby Chalet Village pools, and go out again. In winter, enjoy epic views of the skiers on the slopes of Ober Mountain as well as views of Mount Le Conte and beyond. Acres of trees (especially stunning in the fall), and the Ober tram in the distance. Pools, tennis courts, and clubhouses for summer use are only a five-minute drive away. Deck wS in need of refinishing and it was a little shake. Te deck furniture was new and comfortable for relaxing and taking in the wonderful views. Sone areas are in need of repair such as the base for hot tub, the grill, some exposed wiring/holes in walls and peeling paint on exterior. The deck was looking rough and some nails were sticking up. The cabin is beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. The Christmas tree was a little small. Once we pulled all of our gifts around it, it was a pretty funny sight. We did see a few bears while staying , which was very exciting. The view overlooking the Ober was fun. Saw a lot of wildlife from the patio. Overall it’s a nice cabin with lots of space. Was worried about the steps but they were carpeted nicely and everyone was able to navigate them without any issue. Instructions were very informative communicating everything that was needed. Bears come around at dinner time once they figure out you're there. We counted 6 different ones. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of extra blankets in drawers. Hot tub and game room were perfect. Bring all grilling items inside.
