Private hottub, MTN views Mountain view, lovely cabin, Sleeps 7 2bd/2ba w sofa bd. video game & area pools Private 2bd/2bath cabin sleeping up to 7 people with mountain views with plenty of amenities to include multi-game video machine, hot tub, internet, smart TVs, etc. This unit NO LONGER offers a grill. Too many guests have fed the bears. When no one was there to feed the bears they destroyed 2 grills so far in 2025\. Unfortunately feeding the bears makes them dependent and the park ends up euthanizing them. A fed bear is a dead bear. (grill amenity removed 9/12/25) This beautiful cabin is a perfect getaway for family or friends. Sleeps 5 comfortably + a sleeper for up to 2 more: Master bedroom with Queen, second bedroom with twin over queen bunk bed that sleeps 3, and a sleeper sofa if needed in the living room. We like to think of our properties as your home away from home. We even provide contacts that can bring in your groceries and supplies leaving you to focus on what clothes and what of our many, many activities you want to do. Convenient to Smoky Mountain national part, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge (Dollywood). It is a short-day trip to Cherokee casino or Biltmore House. We practice continuous improvement in both operations and are excited to work with this owner to identify and make improvements. The cabin is a little dated in decor, but completely functional with super comfy beds with good quality cotton sheets. Everything is there to cook dinner or breakfast, even a gas grill. My tweens were totally excited about the foosball table, the multi arcade game and the bunk beds. Gatlinburg is just a few miles away after the drive down the mountain. But the location is the best!! My husband and boys have never been to Tennessee, so we went to Ripleys Aquarium, Ober mountain, visited some local eateries, and had a wine tasting at Tennessee Wines (the Blackberry wine is amazing). The arcade was an instant hit for the boys and husband. The cabin was very nice, clean, and easy to find. Unfortunately, there are multiple cabins in very close proximity to one another, and so you are afforded very little privacy. The cabin itself is fine, but be aware that it is quite dated. Also, it was apparent that some things had not been cleaned, namely the upstairs shower. Nothing was too off-putting, however. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a rental unit, which was awesome after a long day of hiking!Finally, this cabin is an approximately 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg, so be prepared if you want to go into town. The kids enjoyed the arcade games and the foosball table very much, the view was beautiful, the hot tub worked well and it was close enough to everything in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet still far enough to enjoy the quiet of the mountains. Some of the furniture is old and needs to be replaced fairly soon, but the beds were comfortable and they stocked the soaps and paper products well for our crew size. The manager had very detailed instructions that made check in and check out so easy. Thankfully, we didn’t have any problems to call about. We so enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back soon! ##### James B. Rental was clean. We did not plan on doing this, but we enjoyed the cabin so much that we spent an entire day just doing nothing and sitting on the back porch. My husband and I actually loved the foosball table and had a tournament. We were 20 min from Gatlinburg and 30 from Pigeon Forge. We were far enough away but still close enough. The stair case was very cool but not easy for older people to get down- I would not bring elder people here. But I would bring my entire family back!!! We saw bears three different times and that was fun for those who had never seen them before. Overall we were satisfied with the property even though we had s rough start. The reservations were showing a double booking so our code did not work. This was soon resolved, but it was very stressful to have happened. Also, there was sn unexpected maintenance visit. Pretty but steep drive up. Beware high wind warnings though. We didn't think it would be a big deal when the warning was issued but then we lost electricity for 2 days and checked out early due to lines down all over mountain and across roads. Manager was nice when we called to check out and found us alternative condo in area with electricity but we didn't want to pack up twice for just one more day. No storms just wind. Feb 24, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Good Stay My family and I stayed at the Mountscape cabin for a few days while cabin Gatlinburg. The cabin was true to it's listing. Spacious for our family of 4, yet cozy. It has lots of original character. Communication with the property owner Ed was easy, access to the cabin was a breeze. The only thing that was not up to standard was the cleaniness. The basics were done, clean towels, freah linen, empty trash cans. However, the stove was dirty with crumbs of food, bathroom sinks had hair in them, cabin was not swept. The downstairs bathroom had press-on nails on the floors, top of the fridge was dust covered, front of fridge and dish washer was dirty, empty cans left on the back porch. There were no basic cleaning supplies available to wipe things down. We did not spend a ton of time in the cabin, so we did our best to clean what we could and ignore the rest. Overall, the stay was good. The property is beautiful. Cleaning could definitely use improvement, especially since quest pay a cleaning fee. ##### A R.
