Cute Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub and Wood Fireplace

BEAUTIFUL SECLUDED LOCATION in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg. Only 5 minutes from the Ober ski resort & less than 10 minutes from downtown or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Royal Chalet Cabin is a cozy, secluded oasis but still close to all the fun and we're DOG FRIENDLY. Please come on down and enjoy Royal Chalet Gatlinburg.

Outside: Experience the VIEWS!! Windows all around the cabin creating a picture perfect scene filled with trees and mountains.

The Deck: From the panoramic deck you may catch a glimpse of mother black bear and her cubs. Enjoy the hot tub for a relaxing soak. Fire up the gas grill also!!!

Inside: Home is where the hearth is, make a pleasant fire in the fireplace while snuggling on the couches with family and friends. Be sure to catch up on your shows using the flat screen smart tv. The open kitchen layout with dashing concrete counter tops and dazzling wood carved table allows you to chat and socialize while you cook.

Bedrooms: King size bed in the master offers enjoyable and spacious comfort. Top and Bottom queen size bunk beds with ample space in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs.

Dog Policy: We allow up to 2 dogs max. There is a flat $150 pet fee for up to 2 dogs. No dogs over 100lbs. No other pets are allowed due to owner's allergies.

Amenities: Swim on the Mountaintop. Our guest have access to the 3 Chalet Village Owner Clubhouses each boasting a pool. The clubhouses also include tennis courts, workout facilities, and game rooms. (Pools are open Memorial Day to Labor Day)

Access: There is a walk from the parking area to the chalet on a short trail including steps down from the parking area and steps up to the front door. This is not a good fit for those with mobility issues.

The drive: You will NOT need 4 wheel drive to get to the chalet but keep in mind mountain views require driving up the mountain. Expect some curves and we recommend arriving in daylight on your check in day. Once you drive on the mountain a couple of times you will quickly become comfortable.

Camera:
There is 1 camera on the property that is mounted on the side of the house facing the driveway. We use this camera for general security and to alert our cleaners when guest have checked out.

Our family had a lovely time at the Royal Chalet! Perfect for our family of 4 (kids aged 15 & 12) as we came into town for a dance competition. Jasmin was very responsive and attentive to our needs, providing advice before our arrival and quickly addressing a small plumbing issue we experienced over the busy holiday weekend. The house is a quick drive from downtown Gatlinburg, quiet with pretty tree views. We had bear spottings every day, including a mama and her 3 cubs playing in between the parking spot and the house. Highly recommend for a small family exploring the area.

Overall great stay

Our family of 4 had a great stay. The location was good and the cabin was clean. Only negatives were the hike to the cabin can be tricky with lots luggage and there is no mountain view in the summer with the leaves on the trees. We seen bears almost daily, they come right up on the porch. A little scary but still pretty cool.

The cabin was great! Lots of room, comfy beds, clean, everything needed was already there. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. We got very lucky and saw bears almost every day. It was a great stay in the mountains!

Great location

Nice place! Way up in mountains as we had hoped for! Still an easy drive into Gatlinburg for fun and food! We hiked a lot. We loved this place was pet friendly so our dog could join! Perfect for 2 adults and our 2 teen children. Plenty of room. Host was always in communication. We understood the need for the flood light for walking path but was a bit annoying at night as it was motion censored and right outside main bedroom window but was tolerable. Overall we would definitely consider this again if in area!

February Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and really enjoyed the place. We didn’t leave the house for the first two days! We arrived at night (don't recommend) the walk down the stairs carrying luggage is quite steep, but manageable with a few trips. View is to die for! Absolutely gorgeous There there a good amount of items in the kitchen, including items we forgot like salt and pepper and coffee creamer packets. The beds were comfy - we preferred the bunk beds! May want to bring an extra blanket or two Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful! Just as described!

My husband and I went on this trip for my birthday celebration. It was perfect! I wanted to be in the mountains with a fireplace and easy access to hiking trails and main town attraction's. This place gave us exactly that! The parking was a little stressful as it’s tight backing out but you have to expect this in the mountains. overall, we couldn’t ask for anything better. It was clean and had everything we needed.

We had an amazing time! I came with my boyfriend and my furbaby. She LOVED the snow. We got to do many different things that’s close by the cabin. Cabin was clean and had about everything we needed! Jasmin is a great host, and responds in a timely manner when you have a question. :)

Great getaway

Great cabin. Everything we needed was there and more. Beds were very comfy. Great watching Christmas movies with a beautiful fire place. Also did Christmas baking. Great kitchen. Only drawback is the hike from the car to cabin. It’s okay if you are in good shape. It felt heavenly once inside.

Wonderful getaway spot

Beautiful secluded cabin close to Ober and the Gatlinburg strip. Host was generous and checked on us via messenger in the middle of the stay (just over a week long vacation) to see if we needed anything. Overall we had a wonderful time, thank you.

Love The Roundhouse

We have stayed in this chalet for years. We’ve always loved it. Jasmin is great to communicate with and she’s very sweet. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!
