Perched in a secluded setting yet with easy access to Gatlinburg, this unique property offers both privacy and convenience. From here, you’re only minutes from Ober and have access to great Owners Club amenities, including several swimming pools within driving distance. Inside, Windsong Lodge blends rustic charm with the character of an older, well-loved cabin. As you step into the living room, a wood-burning fireplace, soaring ceilings, and a wall of windows draw your gaze straight to stunning mountain views. On a clear day, you might even spot the lights of downtown Gatlinburg twinkling below. The kitchen and dining area are ready for home-cooked meals, and with five bedrooms spread across three levels, there’s room for everyone to relax. Downstairs, the game room offers a billiard table, a big-screen TV, and other entertainment options, perfect for nights in after a day of exploring. The issue we had was the pool pass was not there and we had to wait three days for us to call the HOA to get a new one. There should have been a back up or something but was inly able to get one half way through the vacation. My biggest complaint on this property is that it’s for sale. On one day my mom wasn’t feeling good so she stayed behind. She was in the kitchen cleaning up after breakfast when a couple was on the back porch, come to find out that they had a showing scheduled, no communication to us from property manager that someone would be there. All the women staying had jewelry out, I had spare money in my room all just out. We could have been showering, sleeping etc and random people just walk through the house you thought was private and not expecting a stranger. The roads on the mountain are steep, winding, and narrow in many places. This isn’t a knock on the property, just need to be aware. The view is amazing! The house is a little dated but nothing too bad, some mold in the bathrooms. Hot tub is clean. Wood burning fireplace was great! Little general store at the base of the mountain is just 5-7 min away and there’s a pizza place that delivers up there too. 10 min from Gatlinburg’s main street. ##### David B. The drive up the mountain was pretty intense due to the location of the home. Beautiful view of the mountains from the living room. The home did have some broken furniture, fridge leaked, and washer would not drain properly. Maintenance did come and fix the issues while we were there. Pool is very close by with lots of things to do there. Communication with owners was very slow, they would not respond quickly, but did help with questions and concerns. Bears are very active around this home. We saw bears every day, even on our deck one of the mornings. There was a ton of broken furniture from the bar stools in the basement to the kitchen table, coffee table, multiple bed frames, etc. We tried to cook but there was only 1 small skillet and no baking sheets. When we got there the electric was out on the mountain but there was zero communication from the property owner about an estimated time that it would come back on. We were stuck outside for almost an hour trying to get in because the code we had didn't work. I also think it is a bit over priced. There were lots of bugs, flying, crawling, indoor biting bugs. It was still a little cool so there were not a lot of bugs outside. We have a bear visit one morning which created some excitement. This is great place if you have a couple olf families as it will comfortably sleep about 12 people. Has a great kitchen but not much outside space. ##### James M. We had an issue with the hot tub and the host was very responsive and folks came out Saturday evening to add water/clean it. The jets weren't strong but better. The front panel of the oven was off so you had to hold the door open to get food out. Beds were comfortable and overall the cabin was clean. We would stay here again. The views are spectacular from This cabin. Expect a thrilling drive to reach this rental. We liked that it felt cozy and private even though we could see other homes nearby. The owners responded quickly to our messages. Some things could still be updated or fixed (no felt tips on the pool cues, washer and dryer are very loud and squeaky are some examples) to make this cabin experience even better. There was 11 of us, we had plenty of room to spread out and not be under foot LOL. Especially enjoyed: pool table the arcade game and the hot tub! The kitchen was well-stocked and spacious for the meals we cooked. Loved the gorgeous views from the deck! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 on the location; a couple of us had fear of heights and the road getting to the cabin was a little scary 😊thank you ##### Sandra D. I am so glad we were able to book this home. It is totally fun and the views are as beautiful as you think they are. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware if you prefer to eat in as opposed to eat out (we cooked a lot). The WiFi was great, multiple people were working remote with no connectivity issues.
