The disadvantage was that the basic necessities that was supposed to get us started was really basic like a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and less than a half roll of paper towels in kitchen. The area to park was very small and it was very dingy and dirty looking going around the pool to go in to elevator. The location is fine, check in process good and communication good. However, the apartment was the dirtiest vrbo we have ever stayed. It was not a one time not cleaned well issue. The construction is shoddy in the home. The white cushions in the photos are no longer white. We left our reservation early due to the conditions. The location being at the end of the complex by the steps was very convenient. The condo itself was exactly what we needed for 6 adults traveling in for a weekend wedding. My money was refunded. The bad started at check-in. Check in was suppose to be at 4\. When we arrived at 5:30 it had not been cleaned at all from previous visitors. All beds were unmade and there was trash and some personal items left. I immediately notified the owner and contact person. I was told they would contact the cleaners. No problem, I understand things happen. My family and I walked down to the strip and went to dinner. At 6:52 I messaged the contact person back and asked “Will you let us know after they are done?” The reply was “Ok will do”. At 7 my husband said, let’s go check. So we start our walk back. We arrive at 730 and no one had been there at all. At that time I try to call both numbers I had and was unable to reach someone. My husband started messaging the contact person. He was told via text message the cleaners lived 30 mins away and had car trouble. This was @730\. So they weren’t there and wouldn’t be there for at minimum 30 more minutes. Then they would need to clean and changed/wash bed linens. I immediately called VRBO to find somewhere to stay. Which was an entirely different issue with even more frustration. When my husband informed them we would not be staying there. He was told they could remove the cleaning fee !! At the end of the story ##### Teresa M. All of the beds squeak, there are no curtains on the windows and the light outside streamed in all night. There’s gaps in the floor boards. Some of the chairs are broken. There was trash left on the counter when we got there. It worked for our one night stay but would not stay want to stay for longer. ##### Ashley M. We staying for a night while passing through Gatlinburg. Condo was very nice, the only issue we had was actually finding the unit, it is in the multistory building in the back of the property. This property was very nice, and recently updated. Very comfy beds as well. The only downfall was the lack of hot water, after 1 person showering it was pretty cold. Jun 7, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location #### Good for a Quick Stay for Family of 5 Great location with free parking. Check-in was a breeze and directions were clear. The unit was roomy enough for our family of five (two teens and a mother-in-law), but it didn’t quite live up to the photos. It felt a little worn, and had a damp, musty smell that could use some airing out. The bed was comfortable but squeaked like an old rocking chair every time we moved. Outlets were hit-or-miss, and there was no shampoo or conditioner in any of the bathrooms - so bring your own! There were no extras - no coffee, no water, not even basic toiletries - so don’t expect hotel perks. For the price, we expected a bit more polish. Still, the space worked well for one night and was more comfortable than cramming into one hotel room. The host was friendly in all communications, which we really appreciated. With a few cosmetic updates and small touches, this could be a GREAT spot - lots of potential. Overall, it did the job for our quick stay! ##### Cora B. I loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The only problem we came across was none of the tubs had a stopper for giving our toddler a bath. Otherwise it was perfect! Jun 29, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness #### Disappointing While the location and size of the condo was just what we were looking for, the place itself was disappointing. For what was described as a recently updated condo, it was worn and looked cheaply done. The TV didn’t turn on, maybe remote needed batteries, the beds were creaky and uncomfortable, and the one bedroom near the front door was dirty. The bed in that room had dirty sheets with crumbs and jelly beans in the bed and on the floor around the bed. There was a candy wrapper on the bedside shelf and the shower valve and sink faucet were loose and plumbed backwards. The bedding in all the rooms should be replaced entirely, as they were worn and thin. Overall, we expected better quality for an updated condo. And all appliances functioned properly. Amenities were a little sparse with no bathmats, towel rods, hairdryers. One of the shower rods was hung too high so water pooled on the floor. The beds were comfortable in the rooms were adequate size. The condo is at the end of the complex so it was in a very quiet location. ##### Jennifer S. The layout is perfect for 3 couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The location is good also. Not a bad walk to downtown. The condo was clean and well stocked. The beds are noisy when you sit on the edge but not when you lay down and are very comfortable. Ethan is a wonderful communicator. We arrived early and he allowed us to park in the complex so we could go ahead and walk downtown and enjoy the day. We will definitely stay here again. ##### Julie R.
