Owners are very personable; I received a detailed list of instructions one week prior to our stay. Also, it was very easy to find, Food City is 5 minutes away, and there’s an urgent care nearby. The pictures were exactly what they showed, the location was close to downtown Gatlinberg and the park/trails. The view is magnificent. Pictures do not do justice. The cabin is so well laid out. Kitchen has everything you need. Watched movies, played pool, hung out on balcony soaking in the view. The view is ethereal, the cabin had everything you could possibly need or want. The amenities were top notch and just as depicted in the photos. This home is quite well made, showers work great, and the towels are better than a hotel’s IMO. A/C was responsive and consistent, perfect for summertime. Our stay during the Summer did come with stormy weather along with a brief power outage overnight. We probably wouldn’t have know except for the Google assistant running through its start-up - we addressed this by reducing the sound on the device to a very low level. Other than this we couldn’t fault our time there. There’s beautiful artwork on the walls by the property owner, and they’ve taken time to decorate thoughtfully with pieces from local artisans. All in all, I think we found our new “place in the Smokies”! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us! ##### Kate J. Our stay at “High Expectations” could not have been more wonderful! The cabin, itself, is a work of art—gorgeous construction, decorated with local high-quality crafts (pottery, metalwork, paintings, and more!) We felt like we were staying in a local museum! The deck views were amazing, with the chairs, porch swings, and hot tub overlooking the misty mountain scenery. We were able to enjoy these same views from indoors (the dining room table upstairs and the master bedroom downstairs). We had a few rainy evenings so it was fun to hunker down with the pool table, PAC-Man game, dart board, and board games. There is also a home theater, which we didn’t get around to using. The beds are super-comfortable and the showers, kitchen, and 2 fireplaces were so nice! Communication with our host was outstanding. This home was the perfect spot to enjoy. We felt like we were in paradise, and yet local attractions & conveniences were hardly any distance away.—the best of all worlds! We hope to return with more of our family! THANK YOU! ##### Cheryl J.
