There is no need to check-in at an office or property manager. \-- GUEST INTERACTION -- • This cabin is owned and managed by my wife and I, no Property Manager. If you encounter any issue or need anything to make your stay the best experience, we are here to help. • We are not local to the cabin, but we’re available via the VRBO platform from 8am EST to 11pm EST. \-- SECURITY -- • For your safety and ours, there is a security camera that automatically records audio and video of the exterior of the property: It is pointed toward the parking area on the driveway. The camera DOES NOT point toward the spa or any interior spaces. Whether you’re taking advantage of all the attractions Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer or simply enjoying the perks of the cabin, you’re sure to have a fabulous, memorable stay. So go ahead, make your reservation and start planning your best vacation yet! Guest access • You have complete access to the entire cabin. The front door has an electronic lock and you will receive and entry code two days prior to check-in. There is no need for a key and no need to check in at a resort common area. Arrive anytime after 4 pm. • The driveway can be intimidating your first time up as it is steep and has a sharp turn, but if we can do it in a fully loaded Kia Soul, you can too! Go forth and be bold and you'll be an expert after that first go. • There is parking for 2 cars in front of the cabin and a 3rd car in the overflow parking area. Oversized vehicles are not recommended. Four-wheel drive is recommended in the winter. • Black bears are common in our area of the Smokies and our cabin is located in their natural environment. Please help protect the bears. Never feed or approach bears. Please do not leave any food/garbage/trash outside the cabin or inside cars. All garbage must be placed in secured bear proof bins. Other things to note No smoking or illegal drug of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises. The responsible renter must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight in the cabin. Please book for the correct number of people in your group. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! Pets are NOT allowed. We have dogs and cats of our own and even they aren't allowed! The fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1 as with every cabin in the area. Garbage/ trash must be in bag and inside the trash can. We do not offer late check out or early check in. We do NOT offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. Cabin is nicely stocked, close to the ski mountain market for anything needed. Bears passed through several days, never bothering us. Check in was a breeze, bedding clean and comfortable. The cabin was extremely clean and close to everything. There's a small convenient store/market at the bottom of the hill. The kids and adults enjoyed every bit of it. I will mention that the hill going up to the cabin was pretty steep, and could be intimating for those that do not have 4-wheeel drive, but not bad once you get used to it. ##### Hector F. It has so many kitchen things and thought of everything, didnt need to buy anything else. Towels for hot tub was provided. Kids were entertained, the view driving up was breathtaken drivu. Kids ages 16,18,20,22 We thought the cabin was perfectly located between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. It was nice that each of our kids had their own bed to sleep in (family of 5 plus a friend). The kitchen was well stocked with ample dishes/pots/pans for us to prepare a hot breakfast and dinner each night. My husband and I liked the private hot tub off the basement bedroom that we had claimed as ours for the week. The kids enjoyed the second one. Checking in was a breeze, everything was clean, cozy and nice, there's a grill by the driveway which was nice and I don't remember if it was mentioned. The outlet covers are a bit thick so big box phone chargers may not fit. The only minor inconvenience I would say is that steep and narrow driveway makes it so trucks barely fit and cars without AWD skidded up the hill, be wary of the traffic coming out as well as there is a blind corner, ##### Raul F. The location was great - close enough to downtown Gatlinburg and the National Park, without the traffic and crowds. The weather was perfect for our stay, so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabin, but had it been rainy, there was plenty to keep us occupied - games, relaxing on the covered deck, using the hot tubs, etc. The driveway was tricky. We couldn’t get up without scraping my trailer hitch (no damage). I think we would have been fine without the hitch. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit. ##### Andrea T. The living areas were large enough to hold 6 people comfortably. Heat and gas fireplace worked well to keep the home comfortable. Kitchen had a very large inventory of cookware, dishes, and utensils. Game tables downstairs were in good condition. A few items could have been stocked better: 1 trash bag liner was provided, 1 towel per adult no bath mats or rugs for stepping out of the shower no coffee filters, no tupperware or baggies for storing leftovers. ##### Arnie S. We loved the game room and having our own private hot tub was so relaxing. The house was very clean and very nice on the inside. We did have a bear get inside our car, so please make sure you lock your doors. The only issue we had was the driveway. The first driveway wasn’t to bad but the drive to the house was soooo steep. We got our van stuck and had to call a tow service to come help us. Other than that a wonderful stay, plus the host answered every question and called to check on us when our car got stuck. Everything we needed was available and well marked. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and TVs in every room. When we needed something (dishes, utensils) in the kitchen, it was there. The hot tubs were fun. One of the king beds (upstairs) was a little stiff, but the one we used was fine, and the kids didn’t complain about the one upstairs. If we had decided not to go out at all, we would not have been bored at the cabin. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and amenities. Caution: Those other reviewers aren’t joking about the driveway. We were in our front wheel drive Toyota Sienna minivan, and there was some scooting on the first day in the misting rain. The hard part is making the turn on the incline.
