The place was cute, clean, and just what we needed! It's on a little street surrounded by other houses, so I wasn't expecting that, but we couldn't see them once we got down the driveway, so it's still secluded a bit. The place was very clean, except for the dryer. We went to dry our clothes after washing them, and realized that there was a bunch of leftover sand, I guess from the last people that stayed there. So, I had to spend about a half hour cleaning it before I was able to use it. Other than that, everything was perfect! It took us about 30 minutes to get to town (groceries, restaurants) from here and about an hour to get to Redwoods, but it was a very scenic beautiful drive the majority of the way, so it wasn't bad at all! The house is entirely surrounded by the forest and offers supreme privacy and the opportunity to observe wildlife. The night sky was spectacular and we saw the Milky Way two nights.
