"My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn because we went to a couple Padres games. The hotel is in a terrific location! A short walk to the stadium and there was lots of shopping and restaurants around the property. The only minor issue was that our room’s “view” was of the air conditioning system (lots of pipes). It was a minor inconvenience and, since we had received a reduced rate for the room, not an all together unexpected room assignment. That was the only issue and it was very minor. The breakfast is solid with good variety. The area serving it is nice but very very crowded. We would happily stay here again. It was a short four minute walk to the stadium! "
