"This is such a special hotel, designed thoughtfully and maintained very well. The spa is absolutely lovely, with a beautiful view of the mountains, great amenities and a huge menu of services. The breakfast buffet was better than the 5 star hotel where we stayed in Munich. Our room was very quiet and had a beautiful view, despite being on the ground floor. "Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"
