Wonderful

This house was wonderful! Such a beautiful setting… So peaceful. It was everything we hoped for. Our group of 14 ladies could not have been any happier! We especially loved the big kitchen and having an ice machine was amazing since it was hot outside! Large living room, where we could all sit around and visit. Plus comfy beds and pillows. This Vacasa home did not disappoint.
Put off a little that we needed to go and buy toilet paper, paper towels,lg trash can liners and dish washer detergent, kitchen towels and dish cloth. Need to inform renters about bringing these item if this the case. Large sink in kitchen leaks! And bath tub in hall bath drains poorly. But still enjoyed the stay, it was a lovely location!
We booked this property for a family and friends weekend getaway trip. The house fit our needs perfectly, has plenty of space, and activities for all ages. We really liked the location it was quiet and there's plenty of room space for the kids to run around. Our only complaint was that they told us the pool would be open, and it's mentioned on the listing as well, but the pool was not clean and was not ready for use, nor was the jacuzzi. We reached out the customer service line and they didn't offer much help. I also sent a email requesting some sort of compensation for the pool with no response from local management.

Fun and funky
Our family of 9 adults and 9 kids (age 8 and under) had a very fun 5 night stay here. We spent 90% of the time outdoors and appreciated that we were allowed access to kayaks, life jackets, paddle board, lake toys, pool toys, and an entire closet of nerf guns. That was the fun part.
The funky part was the house, which had updates in some areas, but not others. Bathrooms were in odd locations. The door to the bunk/nerf gun room had no way to close it from the inside. The place needs updates and a deep cleaning to bring this to the level of what we paid. I see that in May another guest said the margarita machine was filthy and it was still filthy in July.
We had a problem with a door to the pool area and they sent out a guy who replaced it which was great. But my simple request for a toaster (they had every appliance except that one) went unfilled. I wasn't sure who I was communicating with and wondered if it was a person or AI...
The ice machine and 2 refrigerators were a bonanza. The property was amazing. We had fun despite the quirks but would need to see some real changes to the house before returning.
We were a group of about 20 family and friends that wanted a quiet place to bond. The weather was cold/rainy considering that it is very early spring, so we couldn’t use the beautiful pool but the property itself is huge and breathtaking. Plenty of room to accommodate our group size. Many amenities both indoor and outdoors. The pool deck and patio offered nice sitting area for a lot of fun group activities. Would love to come back during summer when the pool is open.
This place has it all! The huge pool was great, only to be out done by the surrounding lake itself! We had ping pong, bean-bag and volley-ball tournaments every day! The ice maker was great as was the whole place! We watched many deer and other wildlife every day. thank you for sharing your house. We and you are certainly very blessed! May God continue to bless you!
The house didn’t have any water for the first 4 and 1/2 hours we were there. They did get a second plumber out that fixed it. The property manager was great. They gave us a refund for the amount we decided was appropriate, but it took awhile.
Our stay at Beaver Chief Acres was a nightmare! Our family of 14 checked in Friday night at 5pm and were overwhelmed with how HOT the home was! The living room, kitchen & front bedrooms never cooled down to under 86° (90-95° in the kitchen). The back bunk room has a mini-split that does not turn on. We did notify the host & an HVAC tech was scheduled Saturday.
We unloaded our groceries into the refrigerators & freezers only to find that NONE of them ever cooled properly!
One would think that the A/C and appliances would be turned on prior to guests’ arrival!
The pool is lovely, but there was dried animal feces all around the pool deck. Again, we notified the host & after sending pictures, we received no response to this issue.
The final straw came when we wanted to take showers & found that the sulfur smell in the water was overwhelming! It smelled like sewage! I filled one of the bathtubs & the water was BROWN & smelled repulsive!
By 9:00pm, after being there for 4 hours, I felt it was not safe for my family to stay in this home with the lack of air conditioning & clean water so we decided we would pack up & leave early the next morning & agreed with the host that we would pay for one night only, so we were gone by 9am. We were there for 16 hours.
We paid a fortune for a 3-night stay. After much back and forth with Vacasa and the host, I wound up receiving refunds for less than half of the total, which left me paying an exorbitant rate for ONE MISERABLE NIGHT. DO BETTER!
Very spacious home and property. Excellent access to lake for swimming and fishing including covered boat dock that came in handy on rainy days. Fish were biting and good cat fish fishing at night. Plenty of water toys including water trampoline and kayaks. Kitchen was large and well equipped. Very large swimming pool and well maintained. Used the smoker a couple times and did a good job. Property representative periodically checked in to see how things were going and if there were any questions or things we needed. Kitchen got a little smokey during some of the cooking as the exhaust fan on the stove couldn't keep up. Put fans in windows that made things better.
Very large property on the water. Spacious home with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. Includes large covered boat dock excellent for fishing in rain. Fishing for cat fish at night was excellent. Big pool was large enough no one felt crowded. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious enough for cooking crew. Meals were preplanned to do the shopping before arrival. Saved on making trips to the store.
This house is AMAZING! We’ve traveled with the same 6 families to lake houses for 10 years - this house, the lake, extra amenities on this property are incredible! Industrial ice maker as well as frozen cocktail machine were a huge bonus! They provide wood for the smokers but bring a small bag of charcoal for the grill just in case. There is also a EVO grill (hibachi style) with propane provided outside. Every possible cooking gadget is provided and the 2 dishwashers were super helpful with a large group.
The pool is gigantic!!! And all of the sport courts come with equipment needed—basketballs, volleyballs, etc. We loved our time at the lake — the Lilly pad and water trampoline provided is where we hung out the most.
The rooms were very clean and house is spacious enough for 11 adults and 13 kids to sleep comfortably for a 4 night stay. We didn’t want to leave!!!
So many activities. Ages 3-70 all had a great time. Perfect family get together to keep everyone entertained. The property is beautiful and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us.
We had a wonderful weekend a Beaver Chief Acres. The property is amazing. It truly has everything you might need and want (for kids and adults) all in one place. It’s truly a beautiful place.
We owned a lakefront home on Beaver for many years and return on an annual basis in rental homes. We have stayed in many different homes over the years, but this year was our best experience! The house was good, but the best features are outside! The in-ground pool was the big bonus, it is huge and we spent many hours in it. Even with 24 of us there was always plenty of room left over. With the house located on the end of a peninsula the views of the lake are fantastic. The house just keep going on and on once inside. Plenty of living space to spread out in. I would highly recommend Beaver Chief Acres to anyone with a large group.
Very much enjoyed our vacation here. Welcoming home and something for everyone, adults and kids, to do all week! We couldn't think of anything else this place needed. Will be coming back!!
