Many mornings you will see elk grazing just outside the living room windows. It is a site to be seen and enjoyed!! Throughout Gardiner and the areas around Yellowstone National Park - there is nothing quite like The Eagles Nest at Yellowstone. This wonderful and spacious cabin is located just off the Yellowstone River. Only a few hundred yards away from Yellowstone National Park, 4-miles from the Roosevelt Arch at the north entrance to YNP, and close to Mammoth Hot Springs, mountain biking and all the wildlife you can imagine. The Eagles Nest at Yellowstone is self-contained with wilderness furnishings in the living area, crisp linens, plush towels, books, SMART TV (must have your own Netflix account), DISH TV Network, WIFI access, a complete fully-stocked kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, range, dishwasher, washer & dryer, coffeemaker, coffee and teas, gourmet spices and sauces, an outdoor grill and a wonderful covered patio for relaxing after a day of hiking, horseback riding or rafting on the Yellowstone River. Restaurants and local shopping are within a ten minutes driving distance and Chico Hot Springs Spa & fine restaurant are a half hour away. This Yellowstone cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone National Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only 1500 (approx) feet away. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the fire pit by the river or a relaxing stroll down our rural road, away from the noises of the city. Just under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private. Feedback for our cabins has been consistently wonderful. Please join us for your Yellowstone National Park and mountain cabin with river views vacation. Discover how comfortable and luxurious you can feel in the tranquility of the Montana experience. We do occasionally see bears, mountain lions, wolves, bison and rattlesnakes on the property and we frequently have deer and elk - especially in the spring and fall. The property does have exterior cameras to for the protection and safety of our property and guests. Many times the elk will eat right outside the patio and bed down for the day. Please do not approach or feed any of the wildlife. You should always maintain 25 yards distance between elk, deer & bison and 100 yards from bears, wolves and mountain lions. We really didn’t even mind the dirt road. If you come in off of 89 it is the smoother side, but nothing beats popping out right at the Roosevelt arch. We loved waking up to elk in the yard, but even when they aren’t in the actual yard, they aren’t too far away. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The elk in the yard every day were a nice touch. We stayed a few days in another cabin here that was nowhere near as nice as 19\. Thanks. ##### Mike R. Just be aware of 2 things- be ready for 3 -4 miles of gravel drive to get to the place. And you have to haul your own trash out but the owners give you instructions on where to dump etc. additionally the location is beautiful but you are among other cabins and you can see the freeway. This was a great size for my family of 7\. The house had plenty of space and the full kitchen and grill allowed us to prepared some meals at the house. Having the washer and dryer was a great bonus. As we were grilling out one day we saw about 50 elk moving over th hillside- it felt like a scene from a. Movie. The location allowed for quick access to the north gate into Yellowstone and we had no wait to get in the park. The town of gardiner had everything you could need as well. If we come back come to Yellowstone, we will would definitely get this rental again. ##### Kristie P. Our cabin was walking distance from the river. It was rustic & comfortable with beautiful views. Unfortunately, we could smell the septic tanks when walking the property (bearing in mind that the weather was hot as we visited in late July). Its close proximity to Yellowstone was a definite plus in our book! Hallway floor between the bedrooms was creaky so disturbed those still asleep. Water for showers took a while to heat up (there were 4 of us). Beds were comfortable and we had ample storage. No wait times during the time we were there (late June-early July) to get into Yellowstone. The property was clean and well appointed. It was great to wake up to fox, coyote and elk right outside your door! My husband and son loved fly fishing on the Yellowstone River, essentially in your backyard (although not all cabins are next to the river so be careful about which one you choose). Our communication, with Tammy, was less than ideal. She did not understand the billing that VRBO had implemented (in fact, neither did VRBO although they were persistent in figuring out their own error so I given them credit!) and instead of trying to figure it out, was curt, accusatory and rude. Thankfully, VRBO customer service was amazing, figured out their error and fixed the documentation. Overall, a great place to stay as long as you don't have to deal with management. ##### Heather L. It was so clean and updated, very well stocked, and our kids loved seeing the wildlife right out the window.
