Our cabin is tucked peacefully away from traffic and tourism noise, offering a private Montana mountain retreat where you can truly unwind. Wake up to wide-open sky and wildlife moving through the landscape, spend your days exploring Yellowstone, and come home to comfort, calm, and warmth. This 1,040 square ft log cabin, built in 2019, is located in the old mining town of Jardine, just 5.5 miles up a county maintained dirt road from Gardiner, Montana - and worth all fifteen minutes of the drive to get here. Cabin 1, along with our other three cabins, sits on just over 12 acres of private property that borders national forest land. You'll be hard pressed to find a more comfortable, quiet space than this one. The old Jardine mine site is part of the beautiful and unique mountain views you'll see while you sip your morning coffee or tea from the back patio, as well as being able to see and hear Bear Creek! Soak in the spring flowers and Montana sunsets over the ridge out front. If you prefer your walks without the crowds of Yellowstone, there are also great hiking trails just a short walk from the front door. We'll leave you a can of bear spray to borrow while you're out exploring the area. Cabin amenities \*two bedrooms, each with a premium king size bed and hotel quality linens, plus an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower (no tub), plush spa-like towels, and toiletries provided. Kitchen was modern and had everything that we needed for our stay. Washer and dryer worked out wonderfully. Enjoyed the covered porches and the sound of the creek. Beds were comfortable. My husband and I shared one king bed, my daughter the other and my son slept on the pull out couch. Everyone slept very well. We especially enjoyed the front and back decks and the sound of the creek behind the cabin. Very easy to check in and out. Super clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful, quiet location with the relaxing sound of rushing water in the creek behind the property.
