What's nearby: This home sits four miles south of downtown Garden City, just half a mile from the Bear Lake Golf Course. You'll be a few minutes' drive from dining, shopping, and the famous Bear Lake raspberry shakes in town. The Garden City area offers wonderful year-round fun, with countless beaches, marinas, and hiking and biking trails in the summer and hundreds of miles of snowmobiling and skiing trails close by in winter (including Beaver Mountain Ski Area 16 miles west). It is extremely clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the fall colors from the balcony were beautiful. They had a lot of toys for our kids to play with which was a huge plus. The air hockey table was also a wonderful surprise. I read and napped in the loft over looking the lake some days. The area was very quite, We where there during the weekday however. Quick drives to many surrounding areas. Everything in the house worked great. We stayed in late may and the basement quarters stayed very cool. We enjoyed this home very much, would rent again if we headed back to this great high desert area. We really liked staying at this cabin. The location was great. The views were amazing! The queen bed upstairs is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced or perhaps a pillow topper should be put on the mattress. The Wi-Fi is no good and some of the cookware needs to be replaced. The largest cooking pan is so warped that anything that has liquid, eggs, water, etc., spills out the back of the pan towards the handle. The cabin is well decorated, and the other furniture is very comfortable. Plenty of space for 10 of us. Lots of great wildlife came through the yard.
