It is located around 150 meters from the Tiny House and is shared with the other guests of the winery. The Tiny House Vogelnest has an outdoor terrace directly in front of the kitchen with two seats. A sunbathing area with two sun loungers, sea view and view of the valley opposite. The Bird's Nest also has its own olive and wine terraces and direct access to the hiking trails through the fragrant pine forest. There is only one other stone house nearby, which the landlord occasionally uses as an office and storage room. The Bird's Nest is located above and has its own terraces and cozy seating areas. Your satisfaction is important to us. You should consider the following points before booking: The journey from Santa Cruz airport to Hacienda La Palma takes around 1.5 - 2 hours. There are shopping opportunities on the way, for example in El Paso, Los Llanos or Puntagorda. We will be happy to provide you with recommendations before your arrival. Navigation systems do not work properly in this region. Please use our directions and the video link that we will provide you with after booking. We will be happy to recommend a suitable rental car. Regardless of where you book your vehicle: Please note that La Palma is a steep island. After leaving the well-maintained LP 111 road, the access to the hacienda is about 500 meters up a steep concrete road. Another 500 meters lead over a bumpy forest road. Hire a suitable vehicle for this. With sufficient horsepower and ground clearance, it is much more pleasant to drive. We recommend vehicles with 75-80 hp or more. For 2023, for example, the Citroen Berlingo or FIAT-Panda 4×4 from Monta Cars. New models are coming for 2024\. The Hacienda is only suitable for younger children to a limited extent. Due to the hillside location, there are steps and slopes. We will be happy to advise you in advance so that you can decide whether it is suitable. In the mornings, it takes a while for the Tiny House to get direct sunlight. In the evening, the sun stays all the longer here at the highest point on the vineyard. Aufgrund eines zeitgleich stattfindenden Fotoworkshop war nur noch das "Vogelnest" verfügbar. Unsere anfänglichen Bedenken bzgl. der Größe unserer Unterkunft waren aber schnell verflogen. Es waren alle notwendigen Einrichtungsgegenstände vorhanden, um eine Selbtversorgung zu gewährleisten. Zugegeben, der nächtliche Gang zur Toilette über den Außenbereich war gewöhnungsbedürftig und wäre bei kühleren Temperaturen wohl nicht so prickelnd gewesen. Es überwogen aber letztendlich die überwiegenden positiven Eindrücke. Eine Stille, eine Ruhe, fast schon beängstigend. :-) Ein Himmel mit unzähligen Sternen, die man bei uns in dieser Klarheit gar nicht mehr erleben kann. - Eingebettet in der herrlichen Landschaft der Hacienda hatten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit.
