So after over an hour of yelling at the front desk people, I was transferred to the infinitely better Summit Crescent. It was a lovely hotel with great views, fantastic food, relaxing spa. It's a bit from the city square, but otherwise great. The breakfast billed as lavish was a joke. A few pieces of water melon that tasted of onion and a few bits of stale cake were the highlight. The a la carte menu was very limited with few European choices and many items not available. The hotel is very dated and in need of a good overhaul but that is no excuse for the filthy condition. In particulate the cloakrooms off the reception and dining room were to put it mildly disgusting and were not cleaned at all during our four night stay.
