"The Galmont is a very nice hotel that is in an excellent location for travelers. It is only a 3 minute walk from the train station or bus station, and equally close to the center of town. We did not have a car and it was a great choice for us. The young lady who checked us in was super helpful and we even got an upgraded room! The lobby area is very nice, the bar and restaurants are great, and the room was very well appointed. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was large. There are a ton of restaurants and pubs within a short walk, as well as the shopping district. Really no complaints, but the chair and ottoman in the room was rather worn and should be replaced. A minor fault. Definitely recommend!"

"This area around the hotel looks quite "industrial", but it a very short walk into Galway and given this location, for me it was a winner. Breakfast was fine, but not helped by a coachload of quite loud tourists from a foreign land that expected their coffee to come in buckets, otherwise all was good"

"Next to Latin Quarter with all restaurants and shops. It has an internal Parking garage, however ramps between levels are very narrow."

"An adorable hotel right in the middle of historic Galway. The rooms were well designed and comfortable if on the small side and the one we stayed in didn’t have a window (the only flaw). The rooms did seem to have excellent sound proofing as we were never disrupted from the street noise. Super kind service and discounts on nearby parking made it the perfect place to stay. "

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I was blown away by their hospitality! I was in a newly renovated room, which was very clean and comfortable. There’s a little traffic noise, but they have good windows that block it out, and the streets were pretty quiet at night. The location Cannot be Beat!! It is a short 10 minute walk to the heart of the music/ pub scene in the Latin quarter. It’s only a three minute walk from the train station and a one minute walk from the bus terminal. Very close to where most of the day tours leave from. As a solo, female traveler, I felt totally safe walking at all hours. Very nice hotel- I thought it was a great value. Nice cafe attached to the hotel in addition to the restaurant and bar."
