If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm. \- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine. \- No jumping or diving into the canal. House was clean, with comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, and 20 minutes to Galveston. This home exceeded or expectations. Galveston has so much history. The property owners were very responsive and did everything they could to resolve our check in issue. The property hadn't been cleaned and the cleaners arrived to clean the property 5 minutes before the 4 p.m. check in time. The furniture was old and looked like it came from the good will store. There was only 1 closet in the house, in the master bedroom. The other bedrooms provided no place to hang or put away clothes. The property was clean, except some of the walls needed to be wiped down. The bathrooms were clean, but there were no towel rods or toilet paper holders.Some maintenance issues:Front door is rusty and needs painting, kitchen sink faucet is loose, refrigerator light was not working. Drains were draining slowly in Master bath and kitchen.Seating was a problem - only 3 stools in the kitchen, 3 chairs around the tall table on the deck. Beach is within 5 min driving distance, spacious outdoor deck, great for fishing. We have a large family and do several extended family trips together. Sofa has seen better days and was jammed up against the sliding glass door. There was another main entry to the house in the same room. A box fan and Shower in one bath did not work but mgmt offered to come fix it.Could use chairs on lower deck and another step. Dangerous!
