The game room downstairs is equipped for late night fun with its own kitchen, huge TV, and arcades. The bedrooms and living space upstairs are spacious, with a screened-in patio and plenty of seating for everyone to lounge. Beaches and restaurants are a short drive away for more fun in the sun! ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1\. ● Location: Bay Harbor beach community of Galveston, Texas ● Beach access: A quick 2 minute drive from Terramar Beach and 5 minutes from the beach in Sea Isle. ● Private Pool: This home features a beautiful waterfront pool with a spacious patio for lounging. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Walking into the main living space upstairs you will be greeted by the inviting and relaxing space that features a shiplap accent wall with a flat screen TV, comfortable couches perfect for taking a break and a beautiful kitchen/dining area to cook and hang out with family and friends! Enjoy the open concept of this living space that everyone is sure to love. Just off the living room sits the enclosed porch area that is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or you can head right out to the deck for some good fishing! Down the hall you will find 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has one queen bed and a full/full bunk bed, and the third bedroom has two custom built-in twin/full bunk beds. The gorgeous full bathroom features a large tiled walk in shower with a built in bench seat for relaxing and a marble top vanity. Bay Bay Blue is the perfect spot for the whole family to have a relaxing and fun filled vacation on the Texas coast! The parents fished in the backyard while the kids swam in the pool. It was peaceful, quiet, and just a one minute drive to the beach.The house was clean and comfortable, with a little normal wear and tear. The listing photos made it look slightly nicer than in person, but everything was still in good shape and we enjoyed our stay. The pool was the highlight for the kids, and a sunshade would make it even better for midday swims.The downstairs area has its own kitchen and beds, which was great for extra space, though it stayed a bit warm. Even though there was some construction going on in the back yard and the pool was not up and running. The house accommodated our big family perfectly. The downstairs game room and sleeping area were perfect for the kids in our family. The house has the best of both worlds with beautiful views of the bay and close location to the beach. The cleanliness was a bit of a concern. The pots and pans had burnt food that had to be scrubbed, dirty pan on balcony that looks like it was left to soak that had a roach in it, trash left under the sink and out on the balcony, hair in the shower drain,etc. We also had to run to the store many times because things we expected to be there were not…salt, pepper, coffee filters, cookie sheet, pot holders, hand towels, etc. All the remotes except one didn’t have batteries. The home is fully equipped with all of your basic needs. You just need to pack your clothes, along with our bathing suits, food and drinks. ##### Amanda J. Inside was needing repairs, had several window air conditioners with very dirty filters instead of HVAC, had to go outside to access lower level, and we swept up bugs inside and out constantly. The lower level smelled like sewer, and we determined that the mowers had covered the venting system with heavy grass due to mowing right after a rain. We cleared it away, and the issue improved. Overall we had a memorable stay and enjoyed Galveston history and the warm Gulf waters and views. We contacted the owner because the stove top was cracked and wanted to know if it was safe to use, also if they had any fans to help circulate the air They claimed there has been no report of it being broken and they would have maintenance out to check it along with two box fans. CRICKETS! There was always something to do for adults and kids, we stayed busy from fishing, to the pool and ending the night with s’mores. There were a few small things that could have been fixed but all and all a really great place to stay! And the property was clean. Just a note for those who like boating and fishing. If you are planning on bringing a boat, access to the property can be tricky so be sure to check when the tides are going out. Also the property’s pier lights are disconnected along with the boat lift. We made it all work but It was a definitely learn as you go while navigating coming in from the bay. Aug 9, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great time with family but some disappointments with space There were roaches in pantry and cabinets (we bought spray to kill), the down stairs area smelled like mold and in fact we saw several “damp rid” units in there. The shower downstairs, had mold/mildew and had not been cleaned very well. The outdoor shower didn’t work at all. Appeared handle was missing. ##### Karen K.
