Features include a private back patio with a tropical setting and Gas Grill, Wi-Fi, Smart 32" TV with DVD and Google Chromecast, washer/dryer, central air and electric heat. 1 BR with an additional pull out couch in the LR. It is located in the historic San Jacinto district of Galveston and within walking distance of many of the island's feature attractions. Free parking on the beach, with free beach umbrella and 2 chairs; on beautiful Poretto Beach. It had everything we needed. The bed was actually comfortable, which hasn't always been true for VRBOs. We had zero issues.We really appreciated the vibe of the house, and felt immediately at home. When we weren't running around town, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch with cocktails and people watching. The owner was an A communicator. The bed and couch were comfortable and there was very nice seating for six on an outside patio. It has a great location very near the beach and also convenient for the downtown district. The neighborhood was nice and we always felt safe. There are plenty of nice eateries close by. We will stay there again if it's just the two of us.
