Super cute!

Loved the space! Great accommodations inside, comfy bed, plenty of towels, they even provided bathroom toiletries. Close proximity to the beach and beach views between the houses in front. Unfortunately i was not able to use the upstairs porch (i guess the previous nights storm knocked over and broke the table, flakes of rust all over the porch and i didn't want to cut myself. I notified of damage at check in but no one came to fix it), but I'm sure it will be fixed for the next guest

Clean, great location (very close to beach, easily walkable to grocery store and restaurant). Karankawa is an awesome location (clean beach, no cars allowed). We'll be staying here again for sure!

Great spot

Building does show signs of age (broken paint and other variables) however, the updates that have been made make the place very enjoyable. You are very close to the beach (however have to walk around a fence line) The are two flights of stairs (1 to the front door and 2nd to get to the kitchen/living room). Had a problem with the code on the door but easily taken care of by the managing company! Overall, great stay! Would recommend!

Fridge was room temperature when we got there, seemed like it had just been plugged in. The 10 digits needed to unlock the door is excessive. There was supposed to be inflatables in the storage unit, but we never got access.

We are thankful for the opportunity to book this home. The location was perfection! Unfortunately, our stay within the home was disappointing. Upon arrival, I noticed that all 3 toilets were visibly dirty (brown spots underneath the lid and near the joints of the lid), and all kitchen counter tops had crumbs. I bought Clorox wipes to clean and disinfect all surfaces before my family settled in. On our 2nd day of our stay, I found an extra toilet paper roll underneath a bathroom sink. Although the toilet paper roll was found dry, it was visibly wet in the past because half of the roll was tinted brown and wrinkled. My family cooked breakfast everyday and everyday I found a pot with crumbs, a bowl with "specks" or a cup that had dried smears. I can ignore the cracks in the wall, in the wood and pending paint jobs of the home, however cleanliness is something a homeowner CAN control feasibly. I was disappointed that I did not personally hear from someone who manages the home when I informed them of my findings upon entering the home. I texted my concerns as instructed and received an automated text message. I would NOT book again. I would rather pay more to ensure a clean environment for my family. Thoroughly disappointed. I recommend following up with your housekeeping team and/or management on findings, complaints and creating a quality improvement metric for your team to ensure excellence of your property. It could be perfection.

Christmas at the beach

We stayed at this property over Christmas and it was a nice retreat. Due to flooding between the property and the beach itself, we were only able to walk over to the beach once but it is close enough to enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the coastline anyway. The washer and dryer worked well and we made good use of them while here. We put together a Christmas dinner of sorts* using the dishes available in this unit. I would definitely stay here again. *the food was mostly previously prepared but finished off and turned into something better a la "Guy's Grocery Games" style.

Extensive water damage

This property is in need of much repair from water damage. The ceilings in both bedrooms and bathrooms are peeling badly. The toilet in the master bath was running and would not stop. Upstairs there is water damage around windows and sliding glass doors as well as light sockets coming out of the wall, so the online pictures of the unit are deceiving. It took as 30 minutes on the phone with their online reception service to get into the unit because the lock system was not working. The local rep was supposed to come the next day but had not shown up by noon so we left. We did not want to spend our vacation waiting on maintenance service since we were only in Galveston for three days.

Beach House

We had a great visit!! Myself, husband and another couple we are all 65+ and we had the best time. The only fallback was the stairs (there is a lot of them) LOL. We defiantly got our exercise but I am sure we needed it. The house was soooo close to the beach it was wonderful.

So close to the beach

Great house, close to the beach. My family of 5 (3 teenage children) really enjoyed the space and location. Quit part of the island, which I really liked. Able for us to go and unplug! Sit on the beach, play card games and have some well needed family time.

Great little Condo clost to the beach

My husband and I had a wonderful time, We wanted to stay longer! It was a great experience all the way around. The beach being a block away was absolutely wonderful and not crowded at all. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Townhouse but no Privacy in main bedroom

The townhouse is in an excellent location and the main floor and balcony are great! You have slivers of ocean views everywhere with a bay view from the living room. The couch is new. The bedroom floor has bathrooms for both bedrooms which was nice. However a few a the wash clothes were stained and didn’t want to use. The main bedroom did not have window coverings on the patio door so it was awkward for people in the other bedroom to use the patio since they could see everything in bedroom and at night when the light was on the entire neighborhood could see in the bedroom. We contacted the manager and they in turn contacted the owner who said it was their preference to have no window coverings.

Clean and comfortable

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. Close to a grocery store, gas stations, and a few restaurants. 3rd row from the beach, top floor has great view of the beach, comfortable beds, each bedroom has its own full bath. Top floor with kitchen and living room also has full bath. Well kept property, we will return.

Great Get Away Place!

Rented this condo to get away a little workcation since needed a change of scenery prior to Thanksgiving. w e have been working at home and were getting a little stir crazy. We thought the place was wonderful! Loved just being a block away from the beach and did daily walks. We did have two issues during our stay. My daughter had difficulty getting onto the Network but a call to the Turn Key Rep fixed that with minimal effort. Make sure you call from the phone you made the reservation with. The second issue was that the dishwasher had an error code and did not work properly. They offered to come out and fix it but we turned that down and were OK with doing a hand wash. The place was very clean, the beds comfortable, and a great place to relax. If you plan to do your own cooking there, recommend either bringing the food or doing your grocery shopping at the Randall's or Kroger in Galveston. The grocery store out front is nice but you will pay a premium. Also if you plan to do a lot of cooking, would recommend bringing your favorite knife and any seasonings you might need. We loved the place and definitely would consider going back again.

Wonderful Time

We thoroughly enjoyed a full week here. It was spotlessly clean and management was very quick to answer a couple questions that we came up with. A very comfortable, nicely furnished, well-equipped property where we would like to stay again!
