It is located in a very nice neighborhood next to Galveston College. The home is surrounded with many famous restaurants such as Gaido's, bars, attractions sightseeing and more. You don't have to drive, you can walk everywhere!!! You will be very close to Pleasure Pier and The Strand. When you enter the cottage, you'll immediately feel at home and relaxed. If you are looking for artistic and positive place where you can have privacy and peace while being close to everything in town, we would definitely give you that. It was very clean upon arrival. Comfortable for my family including 2 small kids. Not much yard space, but our purpose was the beach, so that didn't bother us. The beach is very close, about a 4 block walk. Dragica and her cleaning staff have certainly earned an extra special shout out from me. I left behind my wedding ring and they immediately contacted me and mailed it to promptly. She alleviated all my worry and anxiety. The hosts were amazing, the house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed to cook and eat at home. You are around t blocks away from the ocean, and if you sit outside, you can wear the waves hitting. We bought a train set for our son at the museum and we needed a tiny screwdriver to put the batteries in, and Dragica brought one over within the hour. The backyard is amazing with lights strung up. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were available for our use, which was a huge convenience. Family was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would recommend to the listers is to be more attentive to the messages coming through Homeaway. We messaged if an early check-in was possible, and did not get a response until we called the phone number.
