With four breezy balconies, a barbeque area, an inviting open floor plan, a lush green lawn, and room for 18 people— this holiday home is also just steps away from the sandy beach. You’ll also be tucked safely into a private, gated community and be close to the Seawall and the Strand. Relax, recharge, and reconnect at this dazzling Texas Gulf Coast vacation home. ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1. ● Location: Beachside Village beach community of Galveston, Texas ● Beach access: The community beach access point is only a 2-3 minute walk away. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates. ● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps. ● Pet Policy: 3 pets is/are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. The elevated living and dining area is surrounded by loads of large windows that allow the bright Texas sunshine in. A peninsula island leads into the completely open and vibrant kitchen. A shimmering backsplash the color of sea glass compliments the white shaker cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need— from brewing the morning coffee to preparing an intimate family dinner. Chic metal pendant lights illuminate the gleaming marble-topped workspaces. Down a short hallway are a laundry room, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. The first bedroom on this floor has a queen-size bed with custom built-in twin-size bunk beds. The second bedroom has a king-size bed. The full bathroom can be accessed from the hallway and features a glass-enclosed, step-in shower with spa-like tile details. Upstairs, the grand master suite has a sumptuous king-size bed and a small sitting area. Glass doors flood the room with natural sunlight and lead out to the sun-kissed private balcony with views of the peaceful neighborhood and the ocean beyond. The master bathroom has a soaking tub and a step-in shower that are surrounded with slabs of gorgeous Carerra marble, and double vanity. A small room off the master suite has a triple stack of twin-size bunk beds. An additional bunk room on this floor has two full-over-queen size bunks, while another full bathroom with a step-in shower can be accessed from the hallway. On the penthouse level, a private den space has a wet bar with a mosaic tile backsplash and a full-size daybed. The soaring balcony provides sweeping views of the Beachside Village neighborhood and the ocean. Relax at the pub table with a frosty cocktail and take in the magnificent view. Back downstairs on the main level, the front porch has an outdoor dining table that’s perfect for hosting an alfresco family meal at sunset. A barbeque area below allows you to grill up some juicy burgers or fresh-caught fish with ease. And when your family is ready to hit the beach, the access point is a quick walk down the lane to a lovely, less-crowded beach. This home is also close to the Seawall, the Strand, and Pleasure Pier— so there’s something for everyone. ● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee. ● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. House Rules: \- Guests must be 24+ to book the property. \- One-night stays must be approved. \- Groups larger than 16 need to be approved. We do not allow parties. \- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. \- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost. \- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel. \- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied. \- NO oversized vehicles of any kind per HOA regulations. \- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. This is our second time in 4 months staying at this property, and it never disappoints. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a beach vacation. The house is a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood is always quiet, even during a peak travel week. The house has things like a washer and dryer, high chair, and other useful amenities when traveling with children. There are lots of great restaurants close by as well. Our only crituques would be that the 3rd floor door doesnt lock (it was unlocked when we got here), there are no pot holders in the kitchen, no stopper for the bathtub (we bought one and left it for the next group), and no place to put toilet paper. The private beach was fabulous and a short 5 minute walk from the house. The kitchen is well-equipped. The house did show some wear and tear; that's OK, as far as we're concerned. The woodwork in the house needs to be cleaned or repainted. I'll echo another review that commented on the dirty dining room chairs. A few other relatively minor issues with cleanliness. The location was an easy drive from everything we were looking to do. The only issues we had was that we noticed mold on the ceiling in one of the rooms, seemingly from water damage. Short term stays, it’s one of those things that we weren’t too concerned about to report it immediately, but still a little unsettling to look up and see in the room you are sleeping in! Also, I felt like the property was a bit strict on check in time. I understand that if you have previous guests before, sometimes it’s just not available, but it seemed to be open the night before and he wanted us to pay a $50 extra fee to come a few hours before. Needless to say, we’ve never had someone do that so it was a tad bit off putting. But overall, it was clean and matched description. ##### Jessica L. It was not occupied for a while and there were dust rabbits and kangaroos, not dust bunnies. The dust was so thick that I thought the kids played with a shredding husky. The bedroom ceiling was leaking water from the roof when it rained. We were given 1 small and 1 big towel for each bed BUT the washing machine was broken. It didn’t clean the towels we washed and came out with more sand and dirt. Also, the upstairs bathroom bath was stopped up and dirty. There were no cleaning supplies no TVs in each room. The property manager responded to every issue but the handy man they sent didn’t fix anything, only looked and gave explanations.
