Whether you’re casting a line at the fishing Pier, dining on the waterfront, hiking in Galveston Island State Park, or enjoying the attractions, you’ll find something for everyone! Moondancer on the Beach offers all of this & more! Located at the Maravilla condominium complex – Moondancer at the Beach overlooks the largest of the 3 pools that this complex offers. There is also a hot tub, outdoor volleyball area and other outdoor games, a fitness room and 6 pay per use laundry facilities. Our listing indicates that there are washers/dryers- these are not inside of the unit however they are shared among the others living and vacationing at the complex. Moondancer is set up to accommodate all of your needs whether it’s coffee or a cocktail on the balcony, cooking gourmet meals, heating up leftovers or making popcorn for family movie and game night – the kitchen has absolutely everything you’ll need. Cookware, dinnerware, silverware and glassware, full-sized appliances and more. The serene master bedroom has a king sized bed and the common restroom can be accessed either from the hallway or the bedroom. The living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa and there is a set of true twin bunk beds built in to the hallway niche. The décor is coastal without being over the top and distracting, and the balcony has room for a romantic dinner for two – or your group catching an amazing coastal sunset. When you’re on vacation with us – you’re on vacation. No need to stop at an office, wait in a line to pick up keys – just get to your home away from home and start enjoying all that our city has to offer. Of course if you need us, we are only a text, message or phone call away and we look forward to EARNING your 5 star review and to earning your repeat business and referrals. Come Stay With Us at Moondancer on the Beach – it will quickly become your favorite Galveston Getaway for years to come. The Maravilla is a condominium complex of 164 privately owned condos. Some of the owners live here full-time, others use it as their personal Galveston Getaway and others, like the owners of Moondancer at the Beach, offer it to Galveston visitors. PARKING/RESORT/AMENITIES - The Maravilla complex (not My Galveston Getaway) charges a fee that is $10 per vehicle per day up to a maximum of $70 per vehicle per month. Again - we have no control over this charge and almost every complex on the island has a fee of some sort that is charged for use of these amenities. My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started! We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels. Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost. There is currently construction going on in one building of the complex. This does not affect the condo you are reserving from us or any of the amities of the complex. After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved. Galveston is a barrier island in Texas located on the Gulf of Mexico. From time to time we have unexpected rain, thunderstorms, and sometimes we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. From time to time there may be brief interruptions in electricity and WiFi services due to weather. You should consider purchasing trip interruption or cancelation protection through the platforms or another source. We are unable to guarantee sunny days, mosquito free nights and perfect weather, nor do we refund for these possibilities. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory evacuations issued by a governmental agency, or for the property being unavailable due to damages and extended power outages. Two pool areas as well- one is heated. The staff was prompt to respond when we let them know we didn't have bedding for the fold out couch area. Grows: The unit is very small- much smaller than expected, during our stay there were some other guests at the property that gave us some uncomfortable vibes- lots of drinking and partying and adult activity in the pool/hot tub areas- we couldn't even get in the hot tub during our stay and we're only able to let our daughter swim in the heated pool for about 20 mins and then it got real sketchy.
