We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The house was nice, clean, and cozy and we loved how big the yard is. The location of the house was awesome too. Sitting right on the corner of the street with a great big open view of the ocean. Access to the beach is just feet away which was also a big plus for us. Lastly, Jaclyn(owner) was so helpful and easy to contact whenever we needed to communicate. We definitely will be keeping the Lone Palm at the top of our list of vacation homes.

Beautiful home with easy beach access

The home is beautiful, offering a family space as well as a private upstairs bedroom and balcony. The owner was very responsive with the few needs we had, and our dogs loved the yard. Beach access was literally in front of the home, and the balcony has a spectacular view of the ocean and stars at night. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Family vacay

We enjoyed our stay and found any questions answered promptly. I will say, this is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house, not 3 bathrooms. The shower for rinsing off after the beach, is downstairs (although not working during our stay) is the "3 bathroom".The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook. All the appliances were top of the line, and having a washer and dryer was a plus. The host definitely tries to think of everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. Sitting on the patio deck was the best. We could see and hear the waves, and it was so easy and quick to get to the beach. We plan to return again.

5 star! It was a great place very close to the beach i would definitely be back but cops out there were insane stopping everysingle person even just walking on the beach it was crazy if that's how crystal will be... we will just travel out to another beach

Great getaway!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! Beautiful house, stunning views of the ocean and sunrise! We could tell the host put a lot of thought and consideration in the guests stay. Everything we needed was provided. Overall, a great beach rental with super respondent host.

Amazing location and a very nice home

Family of 4 and 2 dogs. This location is amazing if you prioritize privacy and dont want to deal with all the Galveston crowds/tourists. The house was gorgeous and had everything you could need, all while being more economical than a similar house in Galveston.

My family enjoyed staying here, the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need. You can walk to the beach and back quickly and watching the waves from the comfort of the bed was my favorite part.We would stay again and again.

Family wanted to get away for a long weekend so we found this beautiful home. I needed to be near the beach to watch them bc I was recovering from a surgery. Amenities made it so convenient! And linens included was a big plus, as well as the grill and wagon for our beach items!

Great house!

We rented this house to spend time with our adult children and their families. It was perfect! They had a baby bed and pack n play! The bunk room has full size bunks, great for families with multiple kids! House was clean with great views of the beach! We all enjoyed our time together!

The house was perfect. We were able to cook in the well supplied kitchen, and there were restaurants available nearby when we didn’t want to cook. Grocery store also nearby. Easy walk to the beach, and beautiful views from the deck. Will definitely be back.

Great family getaway!

First, the location was perfect! Literally steps from the beach. Great views, our dogs enjoyed roaming the enclosed wrap around balcony. The house was immaculate and had a great layout for our family. We had everything we needed for a comfy stay. House temperature and beds were comfortable. We were front and center for an unexpected fireworks show! The kids had a blast on the beach while the adults got to relax. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Tammy and Jaclyn have thought of everything. This is the first time we have stayed at a house claiming it was fully stocked and it was truly fully stocked. The location was great for sunrises and easy beach access. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking family meals. We definitely recommend this property.

amazing weekend getaway

Great place to stay i give it a 5 star all the way around, house was very clean, everyone knows its always on your mind if what you have rented will be clean and maintained this place did not disappoint, it has a great view of the gulf and around 50 yards your walking on beach sand, it is also really close to some great eating, and sports bars will definitely stay here again. thanks for a wonderful weekend..

What you see is what you get! It is as beautiful as the pictures. Perfect location for all the restaurants. The house is practically on the beach. I can not say enough how gracious the host of this home was from check-in to check-out. The house has everything that you could possibly need. 40th & 40th Redeaux

We had a great time at the Lone Palm, celebrating my brother-in-law‘s 40th, and re-celebrating my husband‘s 40th (actually his 43rd, 40th spent in quarantine!) The wraparound porch is great for Oceanview and scenic sunsets – lots of chairs for people to sit and gather, and the kids loved the hammock. Upstairs master had its own porch as well. The kitchen and living room space provide lots of seating as well, all of the kitchen utensils/plates/containers/cups also very nice & refrigerator is very spacious. Both master bedrooms were lovely – –*only downside is the one bathroom for so many people to share, with the other bathroom upstairs (which, Master bath, is beautiful, by the way!) So need willing, sharing participants to stay here with a lot of people! Easily done for us! The foot showers at the base of the stairs, coming from the beach, were extremely beneficial, and the full shower, also below deck, is fantastic! The house is super clean, provides lots of parking, good yard (but beware of sticker burs, there are some-ouch! So definitely wear some kind of footwear). Bath towels, and plenty of beach towels provided! Thank you so much, Jaclyn! Laundry room has the fanciest, washer & dryer I’ve ever used! Also, super handy to have. Both indoor showers have shampoo & conditioner. It seems everything was thought of & made this stay so much easier to relax & enjoy!! Dollar General/Family Dollar? (can’t recall) just down the road if you forgot something. Lovely!

Best host and property

Anything and everything we needed was in the kitchen. My 4yr old granddaughter loves the kids section of dishes provided. House is decorated very comfortable, and very clean, great get away feel. From the towels to the beach toys and chairs - you could find anything you would want. Wonderful morning sunrise view from the decks. We had a great evenings meals on the deck after a great day at the beach. And the beach - just a short stroll away. The family loved the fireworks in the evening from the deck. Best host of any home I ever rented- she thought if everything. My thoughts are always scattered when I write reviews. But to wrap it up in a nutshell, you will not be disappointed with the home or the host. Will definitely be back next summer.
