Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, you're only a short walk from grocery stores, local dining at Shrimp N Stuff, and the historic Menard House. Looking to experience Galveston Island's famous coastline? Make the mile-long drive south to the rides and restaurants of the Pleasure Pier or take a walk down the nearby Seawall Boulevard. You'll encounter gorgeous sandy beaches and plenty of restaurants and food carts.  
  
Back at home, watch your dogs run around in the fenced backyard as you cook up something tasty on the charcoal grill. When your food is ready, step inside and load up your plate with some tasty sides prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy a delicious meal in the dining room, then head into the living area for a relaxing evening. The antique furnishings and bay window structure evoke a nostalgic atmosphere, while modern comforts like free WiFi and cable and DVDs on the flat screen TV will keep you entertained.
