Fantastic hotel

Comfortable hotel with fabulous amenities. Indoor pool and hot tub that actually works. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Location: CAN WALK TO BEACH, MANY GOOD RESTARAUNTS, TAKE TOURS
GOOD BEACH VIEW, QUIET INSIDE THE BUILDING, VERY GOOD BREAKFAST, OVERALL GOOD PLACE TO STAY OVERNIGHT IN A VERY LIVELT PART OF TOWN

Nice hotel close to beach and pier amusement park

This hotel met our needs for a quick overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a nice view of the ocean and amusement park pier.

Pros: extremely clean and well kept
Came to Galveston a day early before heading out on a cruise. The hotel was great. It was clean, up to date and the staff was very pleasant.

Hotel Nice. Experience Not.

Pros: It was clean and staff was friendly.
Cons: They'd have to tear the hotel down to improve the bathroom and ac noise.
Location: location is convenient.
Walls and ceilings are paper thin. Could hear person above go to bathroom at 1:03 a.m. Thought the waste from the flush was going to end up in the room at any second, could hear it going through the pipes in the walls as if it was right there. Then showered, and thought the shower water was going to shower on me, could hear every drop. Then their AC unit came on, which was above me as well, it ran for 45m-hour before shutting off and it sounded like a train coming down the tracks. Needless to say, it was after 2a.m. before I fell asleep. For $189...not worth my money at all. I'll be calling Expedia tomorrow morning. Not a good experience. Parking is limited.

Very disappointed with this property. Will never stay here again. Room was not thoroughly cleaned, bed linens appeared to not be clean, phone did not work, toilet had issues.

Downgrade from my last stay 2 years ago

Pros: location
My room rug was stained and wet. Reported it. Did not receive my w/u call. Food in the AM was either out of items (coffee and juice) or cold (eggs, sausage). Trash bin in breakfast room was over flowing. No one monitoring the breakfast area for spills, cleaning tables or trash. Front desk not interested in report of problems.

Great stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was cozy and comforty.
