Adjacent to UTMB Medical Complex and only minutes from The Strand Historic District, it’s a convenient and cozy base for short or extended stays. The Space: Our property features 21 cozy short-term rental units, all located within a two-hallway building that combines the convenience of a hotel with the comfort of home. This unit comfortably sleeps up to four guests with two beds and includes a wall-mounted smart TV with streaming capabilities, a full-size kitchenette equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, full-size microwave, dishes, glasses, coffee cups, and basic supplies. You’ll also find an iron and ironing board, a collapsible clothing rack for rooms without closets, a round table with seating for two, a nightstand with a lamp, and an individually controlled heating and air conditioning system for your comfort. The bathroom is spacious and features a stand-up shower, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, bath towels, and beach towels. This listing is for Room #9, the Beverly Hills Studio Apartment, featuring its own private full bathroom. Seasonal rates apply. If you’re booking for a group event—such as a birthday, engagement party, wedding, or corporate getaway—ask us about reserving multiple rooms together. With 21 units in the building, The Botanical is well-suited to host larger groups while still giving each guest their own space. Guest Access: We do not issue keys or provide access codes in advance. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests will receive an access code for the keypad entry into the building and their own unique code for their room upon arrival. We want to ensure all guests are familiar with our lock system and feel comfortable settling into the building. If you plan to arrive after 10:00 PM, please message us ahead of time with your estimated arrival — if we are not notified and any issues occur after 10:00 PM, we may not be able to assist until the following morning. This was less than 5 minutes away. There’s a Walgreens a block away which was convenient for last minute items. The room was very clean, nice perk like a keurig for a quick cup of coffee in the morning. The biggest surprise perk I didn’t realize was laundry on the facility. They had a couple pods for use and free washer and dryer. I was in the other hallway so did have to exit outside to walk to the other side but only a few steps away and it was great to do a quick load while on the road. Definitely would choose this again if we cruise out of Galveston again. The property owner sent a message with what to do at arrival and we were greeted by a housekeeper to give a quick property run down. ##### Jerronee G. The neighborhood didn't seem delightful, but it seemed safe enough. I was surprised that several dishes were clearly dirty, there was hair in several parts of the shower, and the floors could've used more attention, especially in the corners. But overall, it was a decent, safe place to stay before embarking on a cruise. Very convenient to RC terminals and also to some good restaurants. I should also add that, like nearly every rental of this type, the window coverings were inadequate to darken to room for anything like sleeping in.
