With an unobstructed view of the Gulf and a spacious covered front porch, this home brings the ocean right to your doorstep. ● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1\. ● Location: Bermuda Beach community of Galveston, Texas ● Beach access: Less than a minute drive from the Bermuda Beach community access point. ● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! The path to the beach, however, needs to cleared a little better. The grass and plants are overgrown making it difficult to navigate through. The home has all the very basic necessities but much less than other homes we have rented in the area, it would be nice if they had extra blankets or games to play but we managed fine without. The water pressure is not very good in the showers including the outdoor shower and the hose barely had a trickle of water, which made rinsing sand off a little difficult. Got there and couldn’t get the lock box to work. Figured that out with a call. Then had no WiFi for the first day and main lights didn’t work in the house. A lot of things just felt kind of Mcgiver’d to work. Also if you rent this house make sure to bring EVERYTHING you might need. There was only one roll of paper towels, one towel per person, no dust pan to sweep up sand, etc. The positives were that the AC was great, beds were comfy, location was fantastic.
