There is an adjoining studio, (#910), and when available will double sleeping accommodations! Rent one or both! Must be 25 to book, and must reside at the property Welcome to Islander East, a beachfront studio condo located on the 9th floor with private balcony and gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico! Resort pool access, tennis courts and private beach walkover available, so you are just steps from the sand and endless hours of fun in the sun. This cute coastal condo sleeps 4 with a queen bed from which you can see the water and a murphy bed for extra sleeping space. Updated and fully stocked compact kitchen with dishwasher and granite countertops, everything you need to make meals. Lovely bathroom includes new beautiful, tiled shower. Enjoy the private balcony with gorgeous views of the beach and a lovely Gulf breeze; the perfect spot for your morning cup of coffee or an evening beverage to unwind and watch the sunset. Please note, pets are not allowed. Laundry facilities are available for guest use, fees apply. Need more space? This unit is connected to the condo next door with an indoor passage door that can be accessed if both units are booked together! Conveniently located on the East End and close to many local attractions, restaurants and more, but still enough out of the way from the hustle and bustle of town. • Stewarts Beach, where chairs, umbrellas, food and bathrooms are available is only 1.5 miles away • Beautiful, historic Bishops Palace is 2 miles on Broadway, where tours are available. • The historic downtown Strand district where shopping, dining, carriage rides and strolling are enjoyed is 3 miles away. • The Historic Pleasure Pier amusement park is 3 miles. • Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark are only 8 miles down the island. Parking permits are required and limit of two vehicles. You will register your vehicle with the front desk (7:00Am-11:00PM only) at Islander East Resort where they will provide the permit(s), along with access codes for the pool, and we will provide information with your check-in instructions before arrival. HOUSE RULES: \- Starter set of paper (toilet paper, paper towels) and plastic (trash bags) included \- Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Location is perfect! We saw dolphins while we were also playing in the water. This particular stretch of beach is nice and quiet and not a tourist hot spot like along the seawall. We walked at least 3 miles along the coast each day of our vacation, collecting shells, and visiting with the others who were also walking and/or staying nearby. Highly recommend! ##### Jennifer K. Room was perfect for two people. They had essentials like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer, salt and pepper. You do have to check in with the front lobby to register your car and read all the rules but they were extremely nice. They had beach chairs but you have to have your own beach towels. The beaches were empty but we went during the off season. The only cons were they were doing construction. We heard hammering around 7 am. We enjoyed everything about it with one single exception that can and should change. The sheets on the bed, particularly the fitted sheet, was too small for the bed. I'm not sure if it has just shrunk or what. It continuously popped off of the bed at multiple corners through out our stay. It was very frustrating to every nights sleep. Every time one of us would turn over it would pop off one or two corners. I feel like this is something that who ever makes the bed should notice immediately. I've been putting fitted sheets on beds my whole life and I can tell when something is wrong like this pretty quickly. That is a very inexpensive item to replace and someone should make sure that happens right away. It obviously made a pretty big impression on us. Ocean front, outside the hustle and bustle of the Seawall, more private beaches, yet around the corner from everything. It was a great weekend get away where we could enjoy the Galveston fun but when we were ready for a slower pace, we went back to the condo where it was more still and quiet. Perfect! ##### Dawn R. If I had a complaint it would be the 10am checkout time. For the money paid , id feel more like i got my moneys worth with a later checkout. Especially since you can't check in until 4pm . Oct 19, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### wonderful experience the place is great. wonderful view. on the first floor, there is even a room with a washer dryer (reg size) and a stackable washer and dryer, ice machine, vending machines. plus there are carts you can use to bring up your belongings. fully equipped kitchen and supplies. it’s a great place. i don’t think the bed is a queen. it looks like a full to me. it was comfortable but very loud and squeaky when you moved about. the shower is lovely but i wish there was something to hold onto when you get out. nice size bathroom. i wish there was a closet. the white hutch next to the dresser holds extra linens for the pull down bed. i thought it might be a mini closet. you can’t beat the view. it’s very quiet and peaceful. we couldn’t hear our neighbors. highly recommended but i would change out the bed and mattress. ##### Juli K. Room felt a little smaller than I was imagining, but it worked. There is tons of room for storage. Shower had good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Employees at the condo were friendly. Cute and quaint with a perfect location and a breathtaking view. Everything was very clean and renovated. We really enjoyed our stay. (Even the Murphy bed, which was very comfortable.)
